Over 100 reads, thank you guys so much *-* Hope you enjoy :) and if you do tell a friend! ;P

Also there's a teaser at the end ;)

I'm scared. I am literally standing outside Ed's office half an hour before school starts because I'm that scared of running into Owen without anyone else around. Hey, Animal Planet teaches you to take warnings seriously. And Owen definitely put a warning out there.

So I sit on the floor outside the office, picking at my unpolished nails and contemplating how I'm going to spend my evening. I'm kind of angry that Jane is going AWOL. Scratch that, I'm furious. And Ed is going to help me with that.

When the bell finally rings and Ed turns up in a floral pink baggy t-shirt, my legs have fallen asleep. Ed raises a brow at me as he unlocks the office.

"Did you sleep here?"

"Did you accidentally put on your wife's shirt?" I cut back, grumpy from the wait. Ed tuts at me and points wordlessly to another poster. I swear he puts a new one up every day – and somehow they are always fitting! It reads: Style is individuality. Individuality is not an insult.

"That doesn't even really make sense!" I point out, dropping into my seat exasperatedly. Ed carefully rearranges his three pencils around his notepad before sitting down.

"Now, Toni, think about it." He reprimands, sorting out his stickers by colour. I don't know how he ever found a wife. Not to be mean, but the guy is a nutcase. Just like Owen.

"That's definitely a sulky face." Ed suddenly states and I realise he's been watching me. He grins at me. "You should try weed."

"What?" My jaw drops.

"What?" Ed asks back, feigning confusion. "Who said that? – Mike! Hi!" Our bulky security guard takes up his post after nodding at us each respectively.

I'm still hung up. "Did you just..." I can't even repeat the words, but Ed waves me off.

"What are your plans for this weekend, Toni?"

I frown. "I haven't made any."

His face falls. "What? How? Aren't you in that famous-chick posse? Aren't you supposed to go to a party?"

A snort interrupts Ed's interrogation. "Nerd-herd gatherings are her party."

Oh goody. "So glad you could make it this time," I remark snidely. I am definitely not in a good mood today. Not good; today is Owen-Threat-Day, Toni. My brain warns me.

Owen takes a seat, oozing so much confidence and arrogance at once I don't know how Ed and I aren't suffocating.

"Owen!" Ed grins. "Toni is in a bit of a dipper today – a bad mood, that is." He elaborates upon our confused stares. "So anyway, we just got started. What are your plans for the weekend?"

Knowing Owen isn't going to grant us an answer anyway, I get right to the root of my foul mood. Well, one of the roots. "He's kidnapping my friend."

"We're going out. She had a choice." Owen states matter-of-factly.

"It's a crime."

"Date," He corrects impatiently.

"If you even touch one hair-"
