The Way Our Demons Dance

Chapter 8

We decided to go to school today. I got up and hopped in the shower as the events from last night run through my head. I put on some black and white joggers with weed leafs on them followed by a black hoodie and some Nike slides. I put my hair up in a messy bun and applied mascara to my eyelashes. As I'm inspecting myself in the mirror I hear a knock.
"Can I come in?" It's Jahseh!
"The doors open.." I yell from the bathroom
I spray some perfume before walking out the bathroom.
"Good morning princess." He smiles
"Good morning." I turn away so he wouldn't see me blush
"You ready to leave?" He asks
"I have to go get something I'll be back." I say walking into the bathroom
I grab my phone and start looking for my headphones. I feel arms wrap around my waist.
"Take your time I'll be in the car." He whispers in my ear
I smile and nod as he gets off of me. I sorta pout missing his arms already. I snap out of it spotting my headphones on the ground by the door. I pick them up and head to the car.

Jahseh's P.O.V

Ski decided to leave early today, so I decide to go see Karen. She looks so fineeeee😻. The way she smiled when I hugged her from the back totally made my morning! I snap out of my thoughts as the car door closes. There she is. I smile staring at her.
"What?" She says looking at me
"I can't stare?"  She started blushing like crazy! "You look so beautiful when you blush."
I turn the car on and start driving. We're at a red light when I decide to reach over and hold her hand. We held hands the whole ride to school. Nothing much was said considering neither of us are morning people.

Karen's P.O.V

We held hands all the way to school. He caught me blushing I swear I can't help falling in love with him! He's such a great person. We get out the car and he puts his arm around my shoulder as we walk towards the school. Everybody watches us as we walk to my locker. I take out the things I need for my first 3 classes we walk to class considering I have him for the first four classes. The four morning classes went by pretty fast. We head to my locker to drop off my things, so we could go to lunch. Lunch went by fast Jahseh walked me to my 5th class of the day. I finished my work in the first 30 minutes so I decided to ask my teacher for a pass. As I roam the hallways somebody pokes my sides from behind I jump ready to swing. I turn around and see Jahseh laugh in his ass off.
"You scared me." I say playfully punching his stomach
"That was the point. I saw you walk by my class and I followed you." He says pulling me to the hidden corner of the hallway.
We have a 10 minute conversation and we even make plans for after school.
I couldn't stop staring at his lips they were so big and...kissable.
"You must have a thing for lips." He says smiling
"No shut up you're tripping." I turn away
"I saw you. You go from looking at my eyes to looking at my lips." He laughs
"Damn I really just got caught?" I laugh along with him as my eyes land on his lips AGAIN
"There you go again." He says
"Not eve-" his lips pecked mine cutting me off
I stand there. My lips tingle already missing his lips.
"I've been wanting to do that for a while now." He smiles pulling me in by the waist as he kisses me again
Once the kiss is done he decides to walk me to class. As we stand outside my classroom I give him a hug and as I'm about to walk into class he pulls me back and pecks my lips. I smile watching him walk away. The day proceeded to go by slow. I swear these classes felt so long and I couldn't concentrate all I could think about was Jahseh...yup I'm definitely falling in love.

THEY FREED X! I remember when I found out I started crying I was so happy and I'm also happy he received my letter! But I'm really sorry I've been slacking with my updates i just had a lot going on with school and family. Luckily I've been keeping myself out of trouble!  I had a great birthday...
