I go to the most prestigious school in the whole world, Sherman's School for the Gifted. Or Trent Sherman High School. We have the highest test scores, the best athletes, and of course the richest people in the world. As I said, the most prestigious. For people to go to my school, they have to be invited. Although even though their rich, some people sure are stupid. But my school believes they can craft the rich students to become successful, just like their parents.
Luckily for me, I don't need to be crafted into my parents. I'm smart enough to know what I want and strong enough to stand up for my beliefs. My parents also fully support me in most of the things I do. For that I'm forever grateful.
Immediately, when I arrived at school, I knew something was different. The other students stood in corners, whispering, point, and staring at me. Usually few people stare at me, but this time was different. But I couldn't place my finger on it.
"BOO!"
Ladies and Gents, my BFFSB, Demetrius, but he prefers Tri. I've known him my whole life. His parents are my parents best friends. They've known each other since high school. So naturally, Trius and I became best friends at birth.
"So Addison, I heard you were seen with a girl outside of school," he said while wiggling his eyebrows.
I rolled my eyes at this. Tri has been trying to get me a girlfriend since the beginning of school. THAT WAS ALMOST SIX MONTHS AGO!
"Tri, correction, I got tackled by a girl. She came out of nowhere!"
"HAHAHAHA!" he burst out laughing when he heard my explanation.
"She was so pretty though, and she smelled like coconuts," I reminisced.
Tri started to grin like the Cheshire Cat. His eyebrows rose higher than Mount Everest. His forest green eyes were wider than saucers.
And that was when I knew, I f^cked up.
"You like this girl. Don't you?"
"No! I just met her. I don't even know her name," I quickly replied.
"Uh-huh. Sure," he chimed.
"It's just that she has the most hypnotizing ocean eyes. Her long dark hair frames her face and makes her eyes pop even more. Oh my God! I can't get over her eyes. What is wrong with me!"
"Sounds like somebody we know. Are you sure it's not her?"
I knew who he was talking about.
"It wasn't her. She left over 7 years ago and she never looked back. Why would she be here anyways, this town sucks." I muttered under my breath.
"Well anyways, I saw this cool new..."
I tuned him out. Every time she was brought up, I would space out for days. You want to know who she is? Well...
Lemme tell you a story...
