Chapter 5

A few minutes later,

"Boboiboy, wake up." The shadow manipulator said as he shook Boboiboy to make him wake up.

"What is it?" Boboiboy asked, stretching his arms.

"We have to go to class. We'll miss the test!" Fang informed.

"What test?" Boboiboy mumbled.

Fang palmed his face and shook his head, "Ugh, nevermind. But we have to go. Just hurry up!"

Boboiboy nodded and stood up as he walked outside the clinic.

The nurse wasn't around so it was perfect for them to go back to class.

Fang catched up with Boboiboy and walked beside him.

Boboiboy stared at Fang in a confused manner.

"I thought you'd hate me?" Boboiboy asked.

"Meh. I'm really not in the mood for rivalry right now." Fang sighed, holding his forehead.

"You okay?" Boboiboy stared at his forehead.

"Woah, where'd you get that bruise?" The hazel-brown eyed boy questioned with concern.

"Well, it was when I stumbled on you." Fang murmured.

"Wait, you were the one who stumbled on me?" Boboiboy asked.

"Yeah." Fang chuckled slightly.

Boboiboy only ignored his light chuckle and continued walking.

Soon, they reached the staircase which was right beside their classroom.

Fang and Boboiboy stepped carefully on the stairs, hoping they wouldn't stumble down, since the stairs were really steep.

But unluckily, Boboiboy accidentally stepped on his toe and stumbled face-first on the stairs.

"Ahhh!" Boboiboy shouted as he rolled down the stairs.

Fang watched in shock as he rushed towards the injured superhero.

"Boboiboy! Are you okay?" Fang asked as he knelt down and helped him up.

Since their classroom was right beside the staircase, someone was able to hear Boboiboy's yell.

And soon, Teacher Papa and the class president, Yaya stepped out.

"Oh my! What happened to Boboiboy?" Yaya asked.

"O-Ouch...I-I fell off the stairs." Boboiboy mumbled with difficulty.

Fang nodded in agreement.

"Why weren't you being careful, my student? Didn't you know that the stairs were steep?" Teacher Papa commented.

"I-I...was...but I fell on my toes..."

Teacher Papa only nodded and stated, "Well, help yourself up and get in class, my student. You'll miss the test if you don't go."

Yaya also went back which left Fang and Boboiboy alone.

Boboiboy attempted to stand up but fell on his back, worsening the situation.

"Wait, let me help you up." Fang offered.

Boboiboy stood up with the help of Fang.

But he felt a pain in his wrist.

"Ouch." Boboiboy said in pain.

"You 'Kay?" Fang asked.

"I think my wrist is fractured."

"What?" The shadow manipulator asked he pulled the hand of Boboiboy.

"Arghhhh! Ouch, why would you do that!?" Boboiboy palmed his face.

Fang shrugged and chuckled silently.

Boboiboy worriedly stared at his fractured wrist.

He leaned on the wall and stood up and made sure not to move his arm.

He walked back up, probably towards the clinic, leaving Fang alone.

"I'll be back." Boboiboy said.

Fang nodded and went in the classroom.
