Wendy(sits back down, eyebrows furrowed): If that's so, why make me go through the trouble of getting one?

Wendy (shocked, speechless)
Meredy (sips her coffee): Look, Wendy, I maybe lonely but that doesn't mean you should be too.
Wendy (still shocked)
Meredy: Don't keep punishing yourself because our parents left the two of us and made new families. It's not your fault they left! I know you think that and that's why you hated yourself since! That's why we're both troublemakers. But don't think that because they couldn't find happiness in each other that you can't be happy for yourself. Don't think that we don't deserve to be happy! Just don't. I want you to be happy and that you'd have someone caring for you... other than me.
Wendy (looks down, tears falling): I... I broke up with him.
Meredy (startled)
