Ash, Serena, Clemont and Bonnie are now almost at Lumiose City. But since the day was getting on, they decided to rest at a nearby Pokemon Centre.
Everyone was asleep apart from Serena who was sitting on the bed brushing her hair slowly, thinking. If Ash loves this girl then who loves me? Who will I share my love with? Serena put down the brush.
"I need some fresh air" Serena said quietly. She put on her pink jumper and walked out to the battlefield. Serena stood there silently, the wind running its cool fingers through her hair. She took a deep breath. The trees swayed gently.
"Couldn't sleep?" said a voice behind her. Serena jumped in surprise. It was only Clemont.
"Yeah" she said quietly and looked down at the ground.
"What's the matter?" Clemont asked walking up next to her.
"It's nothing. Just..." Serena's voice trailed off.
"Just what?" Clemont said quietly.
"Just that, I can't stop thinking about if Ash was lying today or if he was telling the truth and I was just hallucinating." Serena sighed. Clemont put a hand on her shoulder.
"Take every day as it comes. Don't worry about it Serena. Time will tell." Clemont said softly. "Anyway it's getting cold so I'm going back to bed. I think you should get some rest too, we have a big day tomorrow." Clemont turned and walked off. Serena spun around.
"Clemont!" she said trying not to wake anyone else but still trying to get Clemont to hear.
"Yes?" Clemont said as he turned his head around.
"Thanks. Thanks for helping me." Serena said looking at his blue eyes.
"No problem" Clemont said smiling then he turned back and walked inside. Serena walked back to her room. She flopped on her bed and fell asleep.
