Wonwoo stopped as he noticed Mingyu step towards them.

"-- he's such an asshole. He annoys me so much, I just want to smack him on the head with a book. His smile, his face, everything about him is annoying. I can't even believe we're friends. I don't like being around him."

Jeonghan raised an eyebrow, but said nothing in return. He knew Wonwoo was hiding his feelings from Mingyu, trying to keep up with the "I don't care about you" façade.

"Hyung!" Mingyu exclaimed. "Who were you talking about?"

"You." Wonwoo answered with his usual bored expression. "You and how much you annoy me."

Mingyu merely nodded, but Jeonghan could see how hurt he was. He noticed the slight wince Mingyu made when he heard Wonwoo's words.

"Uh.. I just remembered that Seungcheol hyung asked me to meet him. I'll see you next time.. um.. bye Jeonghan and Wonwoo hyung." Mingyu said as an excuse to get out of there. He faked a smile, then jogged away.

Almost immediately, Wonwoo's eyes widened. "Oh shit. I fucked up didn't I? I hurt him, didn't I?"

Jeonghan nodded. "I'm glad you realized that, asshole."

Wonwoo sighed as he paced around Jeonghan. "How -- What do I do?"

"Apologize. Simple. Figure out how by yourself, I have a date with Seungcheol -- it's impossible that he called for Mingyu if we're supposed to be going out, so you'll probably find him at home." Jeonghan answered. He saluted Wonwoo and walked away.

He sighed again.

Mingyu stared at the text Wonwoo sent him. He didn't know if Wonwoo was concerned, or if he was simply confirming the fact that no, he didn't meet with Seungcheol. Either way, it wasn't an apology. Mingyu was disappointed.

Yes, he was severely hurt from Wonwoo's words. Wonwoo always says that Mingyu is annoying and that he didn't like being around him but the fact that he said Mingyu was an asshole was too much for Mingyu. He didn't think Wonwoo thought of him that way. He was so, so, so in love with someone who thought he was an asshole. It hurt Mingyu so much.

But that didn't stop him from replying. He was stupidly in love.

He sent the text. He threw his phone away and lied down on his bed, hoping to get some sleep and forget everything. Forget Wonwoo.

But it was so hard to forget when instantly, he heard a notification. Another text from Wonwoo.

It surprised Mingyu. He wanted to go out like Wonwoo had told him to. But the words he had said about him rang in her ear again, so he stayed in his bed. He didn't reply.
