Perfection

Anastasia's POV

After I told Jimmy who was who, I saw his eyes light up. I cocked my head to the side in curiosity. He smiled at me and said "does that mean I'm your friend?!" I thought about saying some smart ass comment. But instead I just nodded. His smile grew. And before I knew it, I was wrapped up in his arms. When he hugged me, it sent butterflies through my stomach.

He picked me up and spun me around a couple of times before he let go of me. When he finally set me down, he bent down to wear his lips were just brushing my own. I was expecting to kiss me but instead, he moved and whispered "thank you" into my ear. I was, once again, breathless. So instead of saying anything, I smiled and nodded.

The next day, I didn't want to get up. I was arguing with my brother about not letting me sleep in. "We'll what about that new guy, Jimmy? I saw how you looked at him." When he said that, I felt my cheeks heat up. "AWE your blushing!!" He hollered as I finished my waffles. I gently smacked him on the arm.

I left surprisingly early. I got to school nearly half an hour early. I spotted Jimmy immediately, so without thinking, I ran up to him and sat down right beside him. "Well it's nice to see you too." He smiled down at me. I felt my heart race, he was absolutely perfect.

When I got home that afternoon, my brother had a movie in. I didn't notice which one. I just sat on the couch and watched it. Until one line caught my attention. "Nobody is perfect, until you fall in love with them." It was right then that I realized that I was in love with Jimmy. The only problem is that I don't know how he feels about me.
