Nothing will happen

Jimmy's POV

Yes! She loves me back! "Hey, Anastasia?" She looked up at me with pure love and innocence in her eyes. "Will you be my girlfriend?" I waited for the reply. She looked st me and noticed I couldn't wait for an answer.

"I don't know. I'll have to think about it." She said. Teasing. Well two can play at that game. I put my face as close to hers as I could without kissing her. I gently brushed our lips together. I moved and started kissing down her neck then back up. "Have you made up your mind yet?" I whispered into her ear. Then gently kissed behind it.

"Ok!" She said, out of breath. I'm good like that. "Why don't we go out on a date. Tomorrow, since it's the weekend. We need to get to know each other a little bit better." I said. She looked at me and I could see a bit of worry in her eyes. "Baby, what's wrong?" She looked down. When she looked back up, i saw tears in her eyes.

"My parents get back tonight. They won't let me out of the house except for school and if I'm going to Matt's house. They want me to go out with him. They try to push me ask him out. And when I tell them 'no' they....they..." She sniffles slightly. "What do they do?"

"They beat me. They've been beating me since I was about thirteen and I'm turning eighteen next week. So, as a result of the beatings, I've been cutting since I was fourteen." I looked at her arms and didn't see any scars. I looked at her beautiful face again. "Where are they?"

She got up and started taking off her pants. "Whoa. I thought we weren't going to do anything yet." She rolled her eyes at me and pulled her pants down to just above her knees. That's when I noticed her thighs were completely scarred up. Some old, some new.

She pulled her pants up and looked at me. I looked at her for a second before running up to her and engulfing her in a hug.
