My Protector

Chapter 6

We have been driving for at least a couple of hours and I am sitting with Hayden while Isabelle and the others are in another van.

"Why did we have to leave so fast. What is going on?" I ask.

"Why do you ask so many questions?" he says through gritted teeth.

"I only asked one question and why are you so mad all I did was ask you a simple question."

"Maybe because I don't want to answer that stupid question of yours! You don't need to be up my ass all the dang time and you certainly don't need to know my business so just sit there and keep your little mouth shut!" he yells.

What the heck is his problem? All I did was ask him a simple question and there he is yelling at me! Who does he think he is? He might as well throw me on the side of the road and leave me there. "Let me out."

"What?"

"I said let me out. Pull over and let me out and I can go somewhere else," I say.

"I am not going to let you out unless you want to get killed or get kidnapped. I can't take the risk of you telling someone about us and them calling the cops on us doll face," he says with a smirk.

"Don't call me doll face. I have a name ya know."

"And what is that?" He asks.

"It's Tori and I am assuming yours is Hayden," I say with a smile.

I see his smirk fade away and then his jaw turns stiff. "How do you know my name?" He asks keeping his eyes on the road.

"I have my resources. You really shouldn't underestimate me Hayden."

"You really shouldn't underestimate me either Tori."

We finally arrive somewhere that looks really broke down he stops the car and turns the engine off. I watch him open the door and jump out of the seat then he slams the door closed leaving me in here alone. He walks in front of the car and to the others. They all start talking and then they head to the old little building. He waves his hand toward me telling me to follow them.
