-Sadie-

Over a thousand years ago...

I look out at the sunset in Heavens gardens and smile to myself. My white silk dress gently blows around me as a light wind tickles against my skin. My hair is curled and a single white lily is displayed gloriously within my locks. On my feet, I have my white heels which have no front in them so they are like sandals. I sigh and place my arms on the balcony I am stood on and just stare.

"Heaven, is just heavenly isn't it?" I turn around and smile at the familiar voice I hear behind me. I shrug my shoulders and bite my lip softly.

"That's not even remotely funny, you know that? Everything just looks the same to me, there's nothing that is heavenly about Heaven unless you're a human of course," I state and shake my head lightly. I feel a pair of warm hands on my shoulders slowly rubbing circles, the warmth fills me inside. I laugh a little and close my eyes before opening them to see the landscape has changed in front of me.

"What the?" I turn and look at the person behind me. He waves his hands and chuckles. I look at him confused and tilt my head to the side showing my confusion.

"How did you do that?" I question breathlessly looking out into the distance. Heaven's gardens had changed, the green scenery had vanished and everything in front of me had turned into fire and war. I saw people fighting and killing each other with man-made machines.

"I'm showing you what humanity is doing right now, what they will do always," the person informs me. I shake my head not believing him.

"What's going on?" I ask him. I watch as the scene unfolds and watch as many people in front of me kill and slaughter each other. I shake my head disagreeing with this and close my eyes only hearing frightened and pained screams. I place my hands over my ears and tears fall down my cheeks.

"Don't close your eyes Sadiana, look at what is happening here, look at all of the slaughtering and murdering. This is why humans really come to Heaven, to escape this," he tells me. I open my eyes and watch as I see a man run out to another man and clutch onto his dying body. I watch as the tears run down his face holding onto the other man's body as blood seeps through his skin.

"Death and destruction is a terrible thing, God created the humans so they could live happily not kill one another, his masterpiece is destroying itself," he explains. I look into the Archangels eyes and see the pain radiating from them.

"God is true to his word, humans may slaughter each other but they also love, they also give and forgive and forget, they are remarkable creatures Lucifer, this war, this pain, this massacre is just another one of your stupid tricks to make me believe that God is wrong," I shout towards the end of my sentence. I push him away from me and the vision before my eyes vanishes back to the gardens.

"Don't try and lie to me, don't you even dare!" I order. He looks at me with pity in his eyes. He sighs and runs a hand down my cheek and close my eyes at his touch.

"You're blinded, they have blinded you," he whispers under his breath. I open my eyes and look at the conflict in his own. He's struggling, he's trying to find out who he truly is. Something's troubling him and I want to find out what.

"What are talking about? Lucifer what's wrong?" I ask him holding onto his hand on my cheek. He shakes his head and turns around not looking at me.

"I don't like this at all Sadiana, the humans. I hate them, God may have created them but they are nothing but bugs that wish to be squished," he spits out in hatred. My eyebrows raise in shock. How can he say that about something so precious?
