You were the one in high school to never miss the horror movie night, and you were the only one not afraid in even the slightest.
Most of the time you evennlaughed at the gore in front of you.

This however also seemed to be the reason you didn't have too many friends, but you being you, you simply didn't care.

Once you finished school you decided to see if you could join Blackwatch, they weren't as heroic as overwatch, but it also had more diffrent personalities.
And not all people were known to have gotten there by being nice to others.

After you had taken the tests you had to wait for an answer, which only took a week, instead of a month like most people you knew tried to join said.

The good news had come in a dark grey envelope with the black/golden blackwatch logo on it.
Damn were you excited.
And after reading the letter you litterally fist bumped the air, while jumping at 4am, the neighbours weren,t too keen on you screaming "yes! I did it!" At that time of day though.

The letter said the commander of blackwatch would pick you up, which was Gabriel Reyes, your all time favorite, well, anti-hero so to say.
But this wasn't a movie, and you would be picked up in two hours, the letter said it would be best only to pack essentials, toothbrush, maybe a pillow if you had a special one.
You know, the usual stuff.
You packed everything you thought you needed on a daily basis, and took a shower, washing your hair and body, once dried off you pulled on your clothes.

Your favorite horror-movie t-shirt topped by a black button-up hoodie, dark grey flared jeans and some black nike airs.
You did your hair, simply brushing it because you're lazy at the moment.
You heard a quick set of knocks on the door, you picked up your bag, slung it over your shoulder and opened the door.

Your heart skipped a beat when you saw how damn handsome he actually was.
"You ready kid?"
You nodded once, giving a quick "yes sir!"
He smiled "that's what I like to hear, c'mon, the others would like to meet our newest recruit."
He popped the trunk and you placed your bag in the small hover-van.

"You like rock music kid?."
"Sure thing, sir."
He turned on the radio, a rock-song you nearly imidiatly recognised started playing.
You almost started singing along.
Reyes did, encouraging you to have your moment too, enjoying the song as much as he did.

After being reqruited for nearly a year, the overwatch base had been blown up, the news of both the commander of Overwatch and the Blackwatch commander dying reached you as soon as it happened.
You hadn't told Reyes you liked him yet, and now Blackwatch was gone, Overwatch was in shambles, and you had gone back to your apartment.

After a few weeks of having been home and cleaning the dust off of most of your things and redecorating yor home, you heard a sudden knock.
When you opened the door you saw a man in a skull mask standing in front of you, you recognised his voice when he questioned you if he could come in, yet, it sounded deeper, more gruff.

You let him in, he seemed to be happy you did, even though you couldn't see his face.

"Y/n?" You immidiatly turned to face him.
"Yeah?, what's wrong Reyes?"
"I want to offer you a place in Talon, you were one of the best we had, and to be honest, I kind of, well..."
He paused for a moment, looking at a picture of you and the team on the wall.
"I missed you, I know the story goes I'm gone, and I kind of am. I want you to stay with me Y/m, I don't want to lose you too."
You were slightly confused, he, did he?
" I like you more then is good for me Y/n, hell, I never thought I would fall in love again after what happened with my last lover, yet, you stole my heart the moment I stood in front of the door when I picked you up."
You never thought the feelings would be mutual.
You could finally tell him, even if he was dead for the rest of the world, he sat here in front of you, as good as alive for as far as you could tell.

"I love you too, Gabriel, i have since the same moment, I never believed in love at first sight. But I've got you to prove it does happen, no matter how you look now, being a huge horror fan it doesn't really matter, not onky because of that, but also because I fell in love with you, not with what you look like."
You only noticed you were rambling all of this afterwards.

He patted the seat next to him, you sat down.
He removed his mask, his now glowing red pupils looking at you filled with many emotions.
"Are you sure you don't mind, well, this?" Henquestioned while motioning for his face.

You reacted in a diffrent way than he expected, you cupped his cheek, leaned in, pecking his lips slightly.
You moved to whisper in his ear.
"You look way too good Gabe, I already said that I fell in love with who you are, amd damn are you one hell of a man."

He hugged you tightly, you hugged him back.
"Damn what a person you are Y/n I couldn't have whished for anyone else"
