i parked up in the car park making sure to lock my car before walking in, all eyes in our direction. how could i forget i'm walking into school with the justin foley, aka jessica's boyfriend

"justin" jessica yelled from across the parking lot

"and here we go" he huffed rolling his eyes

"justin foley, i called you so many times last night and you didn't bother to pick up, you didn't answer any of my texts i was worried sick about you, i thought you were gonna come over to mine but you didn't and i went out looking for you and i didn't find you anywhere but i should've guessed you'd be with this slut, of course you would, i should've seen it coming" she said angrily as a crowd began to form

"okay first of all don't fucking call her a slut, and in case you're forgetting she has a brother who i'm friends with, i was at his house, i lost my phone at the event thing we went to yesterday and jase said i could stay over, i mean i know your dad doesn't like me and stuff so i thought it would be easier and also you're not my mom, i can do whatever the fuck i want you can't control me"

"i'd make a better mom than your mom, my non existent dog is probably a better mom that your mom" she scoffed crossing her arms over her chest

justin's facial expression softened and he looked somewhat hurt

"you know what jessica fuck you" he mumbled on the verge of tears before walking away

"justin, justin don't be like that" she huffed angrily

"wow" i muttered before trying to chase after him to make sure he was ok, but yet again stopped by my favourite person, did you catch that sarcasm?

"what's you're problem" she asked grabbing my arm

"okay first of all don't fucking touch me" i stated snatching my arm away from her grip "and second of all, there is no problem, me and justin are just friends, that's all, it's not my fault you treat him like shit so he stays with my brother and if he was my man i wouldn't have let him run away like that, especially after saying what you said which clearly affected him" i stated before walking around her

i didn't want to cause an argument and if i'm being honest i don't want to fight over justin but as a friend my duty is to care for him, so that's what i'm gonna do, i walked into the school building seeing zach and his girl

"hey zach"

"heyy kate" he smiled perking up

"have you seen justin?"

"no sorry, i thought he was with you"

"well he was but then jessica said some shit to him that upset him about his mom or something but i don't know and he ran away so i just wanna check that he's okay"

"oh shit, she brought up his mom" zach said

"yeah" i said confused

"jheeez" zach breathed

"yeah he looked like he was gonna cry"

"damn, well if you find him will you let me know what going on"

"yeah yeah of course"
