Toby and I woke up the next morning, the boys leaving to catch a quick shower as I dressed in the clothes Coach demanded I wear. A pair of black fitted dress trousers and a black sleeveless silk shirt, tucked in with a thin red belt. I applied a coat of red lipstick just as the guys walked in, dressed and already to go. I tossed my red/blonde hair into a wrapped up bun, allowing a few wisps to escape to pull off the 'professional' look.
"Hey, Spence?" Toby asked, Andrew searching frantically for whatever it was he had lost.
"Yeah?" I asked, zipping up my bag and storing it out of the way.
"You mind pulling my hair back?"
"Not at all," I smiled, moving so he could sit on the floor in front of me. I pulled his dreads back into 3 different leveled ponytails, securing each with a hair tie.
"Guys, it's in Duke's room!" Andrew remembered.
"Then lets go! Game's about to start!" I laughed, moving and all three of us jogging into Duke's room.
"Dude! What are you doing?!" Toby asked when he saw Bash still sleeping in bed.
"Sebastian! The game's about to start! Get up and get to the soccer field!"
"Now, Bash!" I laughed, closing the door and jogging after the two players. Toby handed off to Andrew his items, wrapping his hand around mine as he tugged me along after him.
Arriving at the field, I went with the guys to set their shit down, taking two sticks of black and red paint and beginning their face paint. I greet Coach Dinklage with a smile, him returning it briefly before staring down his team members. I focused on Andrews paint, finishing his quickly before staring on Toby's.
I stood in between his legs, his hands ghosting over my thighs as I painted half his face red and the other half black stripes.
"Done," I smiled, moving back and allowing him to go finish getting ready as I headed into Coach's office. I remained there until it was time to go, following Dinklage out and into the room.
"Okay, ladies, listen up. Where's Hastings?" Coach demanded.
"Here, sir," the REAL Sebastian answered, moving to dress quickly as we all listened to Coach's inspirational speech. Basically he told us not to lose.. always a kind spirited man, I tell you.
"Good luck," I whispered in Toby's ear as I passed him, giving his hand a squeeze and a soft smile as I took my place next to Coach, ready to lead the team out on to the field. I saw Andrew and Duke smiling at Toby, nudging him gently but sobering up when we began walking out.
I walked next to Coach, Duke trailing slightly behind our steps and leading the rest of the team. We passed through a walk way of dancing cheerleaders, our faces stoic as our school's cheering section went absolutely insane.
And still, we walked on, eyes focused ahead. Coach and I broke off and headed for the bench area as the guys took the field. They remained on their respected sides as Coach and I remained on the sidelines. Duke and Justin approached each other for the coin toss, not even bothering to shake hands. It appeared Cornwall had won the toss, Duke moving back to inspire his team a little bit.
And before I knew it, they were breaking up, cheering and chanting as they took their field positions.
"HASTINGS! What the hell is going on?!" Coach stressed as Sebastian, not Viola, fucked up the play already. It was neck and neck, nobody having scored, but boy was Coach yelling. "Get up! Get back up and get the ball! You're like Bambi on ice, boy!"
But then, the oddest thing happened. Principle Gold, Monique, and Malcolm stopped the game. Gold picked up the ball and approached the field, calling for a stop of clock.
