Chapter 2 Back in Black

"Barry we have a break in at Jitters three guys with semi automatics." said Cisco into Barry's com.

"Kara we have another meta-human attacking the central fair. Reports are saying that they can control water so be careful okay." said Caitlyn.

"Guys with guns are in police custody." said Barry " I'm on my way to help Kara."

"Hey Cisco there are guys at the Star City Museum and they all have powers, mind sending some help my way?" said the voice of the Arrow through the com to S. T. A. R. Labs.

"Sure thing Oliver, Kid Flash is already on his way."

"Thanks Cisco."

Eventually everything calmed down and everyone was relaxing after a successful day of being team Ultra Flash as Cisco liked to call them.

"man I seriously can't believe that a guy tried to stop me when I was running by spraying water all around himself, Cisco what was your name for him again?" said Barry as he sat down and leaned back in a chair in the cortex.

" Washout, and Kara you okay you seemed a little tired and thanks for the extra help today" said Cisco as he shook the Kryptonian's hand.

"No problem it is nice to get out of National City now and again, besides Barry invited me to the fair and if there aren't any more metas to take care of we will take our leave." Said Kara grabbing Barry's arm and dragging him out the door.

" Do you think Barry realizes that Kara likes him?" Asked Caitlin as she walked towards Cisco.

" We are talking about our Barry right? Yeah he has no idea." Replied Cisco with a chuckle as he walked off towards his workshop.

Meanwhile with Barry and Kara.

" Well Kara what do you want to do first?" Asked Barry who still had his arms locked with Kara's.

"Well I would say let's play some water games but Washout killed any interest I had in those games and he knocked me into the Ferris wheel so that is out of the question unless the got the Supergirl shaped dent out of the center." Said Kara smiling as she loomed at Barry who was looking at her with a look of half concern and half disbelief at what Kara was telling him.

"Okay what about the Merry Go Round?" Asked Barry almost waiting for her to say something about why they couldn't go on that ride.

"Excellent idea Mister Allen." said Kara smiling as the two started walking towards the ride. Suddenly Barry's hair on his neck stood straight up, the feeling was new, Barry wasn't afraid at all instead he felt more relaxed than he had in a long time, the scent of his mother's perfume filled his nose. Barry turned to see if he could find the source of the scent. As Barry looked around something caught his eye, it was a 12 year old kid with black hair and green eyes just standing in the center of the crowd wearing what looked like a Flash sweatshirt that was black and the lightning bolt logo was reversed something that was strange to Barry, the kid was just staring at Barry, then just as fast as Barry noticed him the kid was gone.

"Hey Kara I'm going to get us some cotton candy quick save our place in line." said Barry slipping away into the crowd before she could protest.

Barry looked around at the spot where the kid was standing before. Barry didn't know why he was drawn to the kid but something about him was familiar.
"come on Barry get your head in the game, it was just a kid, you didn't even know him." said Barry to himself.
"who didn't you know?" asked Kara as she put a hand on Barry's shoulder making him jump a bit at the unexpected contact.

"Oh no one Kara I just thought I saw someone but I..."

Barry didn't finish his thought. Instead he fell straight to the ground and started to spasm uncontrollably. Kara thinking fast grabbed him and flew him off to S. T. A. R. Labs not caring who saw her fly off Barry needed help NOW.

Meanwhile back at S. T. A. R. Labs.

Cisco was in his work space when a small alarm was going off drawing his attention from his current project and showing him a breach opening in the strangest of places.

"Caitlyn." said Cisco into the intercom that he had in his work space.

"What's up Cisco?" She heard coming from the speaker.
"Are you near the cortex?"
"I'm in my lab working on a possible drug to help neutralize possible meta genes why?"
"because I think we have a breach in security in the most literal sense."
"Cisco if you opened a breach in the cortex again I am not cleaning up whatever may come out, I had enough of that when you vibed into that garbage dump."
Caitlyn walked to the cortex and screamed.
Standing before her was none other than Hunter Zoloman or as what most people knew him as The Earth 2 Speedster Zoom.
