Caitlyn backed up as the masked figure of Zoom stared at her waiting.

Cisco appeared next to Caitlyn wearing his Vibe gear and ready to fight the dark speedster who was, just standing still with the breach still open behind him.
Eventually the two calmed down, it had been 20 minutes and Zoom still remained frozen in place almost like it was a replica meant as some cruel form of a joke. Caitlyn was just about to scan Zoom when a crash was heard from the Speed Lab, followed by a panicked Kara still holding a seizing Barry.

" Get him on the table Now Kara!" Ordered Caitlyn as she ran to her friend's aid

Kara set Barry down on in the medical bay and stood back far enough to give Caitlyn the needed space bit still close enough to help if need be. Eventually Caitlyn had managed to get Barry restrained and stopped the seizures.
"Barry is going to be fine. From what I could tell it was similar to epilepsy, but I can't tell what caused it."

"well Barry said that he saw something and he was about to tell me what when the seizures started." Said Kara as she nervously stood in the corner.

"I have a massage from your dear friend Jay Garrick, Flash."

"Everyone turned towards the now speaking image of Zoom. Suddenly the image of Zoom changed to the form of the unmasked form of Hunter Zoloman who had pretended to be Jay Garrick to try and steal Barry's speed.

" Hello Barry, " started Hunter Zoloman. " If you are getting this it means that Zoom killed me, however I know that you can beat him. After all, you are the fastest man alive, but that doesn't mean your victory will be without consequence. I can only imagine that seeing this message is hurting you and i bet you can only imagine why you are getting this now. Simply put. It was a test, a test to see if you were to similar to Zoom or different, and you showed me that you are different you won't become Zoom. Barry and knowing that I ask of you one favor Flash. On my earth there is a boy named Samuel Allen. He is my son. He has no legal guardians and if he isn't claimed within 48 hours of this message he will be put up for adoption and grow up thinking no one cared for him. I want you to raise him Barry, I want all of you to, have him grow up so he never becomes the monster that plagues my Earth, the legacy of Zoom must die Barry, I know you and everyone at S. T. A. R. Labs is hurting, but please don't let my son become a monster like Zoom, besides. " suddenly the image of Hunter Zoloman transformed back to the image of Zoom. "Only one can claim the title of Zoom!"
The image of Zoom raced back into the breach behind him having close once he was through it, leaving the Cortex silent except for Barry who was breathing unaware of the message that was directed towards him and everything that had changed because of it.

"so to address the elephant in the room, what should we tell Barry?" asked Caitlyn.

"I say we don't say anything, I mean Zoom tried to kill us all and you know the entire multiverse why should we do him any favors?" said Cisco as he leaned up against a wall.

"Cisco that is an innocent child, just because Zoom is the father doesn't mean he should suffer and risk turning into Zoom." said Kara as she stepped forward towards the group who was now in the middle of the cortex.

"I say we tell Barry and let him decide what to do, We can message Harry to make sure the kid isn't put up for adoption until Barry decides." said Caitlyn who was walking back towards Barry.

"Fine I can agree with that, I'll go message Harry. " said Cisco as he walked towards the Breach room muttering under his breath. When he got there he started to focus on Earth-2 and their version of Harrison Wells, but all he could think about was everything Zoom did, all the times he nearly killed Barry, all the times he almost killed Cisco, all the people he did kill just to get in a position of power, it made Cisco angry that they were even considering helping Zoom, then he stopped thinking of Earth-2, and walked away closing the breach.
"Sorry Barry but I won't let another speedster try to control your life anymore and if that means keeping that kid on Earth-2, then that's what I have to do. And with that Cisco walked away from the breach room still trying to see if he could live with his decision after Barry woke up.
