It felt like hours, but when I awoke, my body ached. I didn't go through any fighting with those cops, so.... my question was answered when i looked around. a white room, a white floor, white walls, white ceiling, and a white bed. even the sheets were white. I threw the sheets back, part of them hitting the floor, wondering where the crap I was. I knew I had been drugged with a powerful chemical that makes your body sore. It would make sense, as I was extremely sore. I automaticly stretched, pulling my muscles to the extent. when I finished stretching, I looked around some more. there was an aquarium on one side of the room, but all the fish were lying on their backs, dead. What killed those fish, I wondered. I saw a cage on the other end of the room, but it was empty. There was the outline of a door on the other side, straight across from the bed. There were no windows. The door creaked opened. Yellow light threw itself across the room. A woman came in, and she had a white labcoat on and a clipboard in her hands. She had dark brown hair with bright purple streaks in her hair. She had freckles all across her face, but they were light freckles, not dark. She smiled, showing perfectly straight white teeth. "Hello there." she spoke. Her voice was beautiful. She smiled again at my lack of reaction. "They have treated you awful, haven't you? here," She turned around and grab a bag. The woman turned around and plopped the bag on the floor. "I'll leave you be." she smiled again, and stepped out of the room, closing the door. I stooped down to pick up the bag, and as I did, a cold tingle went down my spine. I opened the bag on my bed, searching the contents. A brush, a new set of clothes in pure pitch black, a hair tie, and a pair of combat boots. I pulled out the combat boots in curiousity. they had pockets big enough to hold a knife without anyone knowing. i pulled everything on, tying up the combat boots one by one. I brushed my hair with difficulty, there was a lot of tangles. I put my hair up, braiding it down the middle. I sat down on the bed, feeling it sink down under my weight. where am I? I wondered. I sat there, lost in my thoughts. I jumped when I heard a knock on a door. It must be that lady again. The door opened, and that lady came in, holding her clipboard tight to her chest, like someone tried to take it away from her. "Come with me." Her voice was colder, and certainly deeper. I followed her down a set of hallways thats walls increasingly turned a darker grey every turn we took. She was completely silent. I walked on behind her, wondering where we were going. Finally, the walls changed. The metal walls turned to wood. We entered an archway that was covered in vines. The corners were filled with little spiderwebs and small black spiders. They came to the end of their webs. The spiders looked like they were staring at me. Huh. The lady took me through the archway into an enormous room.
Oh goodness. this was awesome! the room was at least 30 feet high, its ceiling covered in long thick branches, each with a vine attached that covered them. the room was shaped like a cylinder, and on the other end was.... a..... light?
I took a step, feeling the leaves below my feet crunch. i looked back at the lady that brought me here. She gave a slight nod, then turned towards the light, perfectly still. I walked silently and cauisesly toward the light, not bothering to look at the people gathering outside of doors to get a look at me. Wait, when did they get here? The light re-catches my attention. I keep moving toward it. I was half way. Three quarters. Finally, I was standing right in front of it. The light dimmed, and I heard a scream in my head. I slapped my hands on my ear, trying to block out the sound. It just grew louder, until I felt I would die. This is my end, I thought. this is how I die. I drifted off into a dream.
