Liam walks out of his house, making his way to school on his own.

"Hey Li!" Louis grins once he's seen Liam walk inside the school, happily early.

"Hey Lou," Liam greets back half heartedly at his best friend. He wasn't in the best mood, as most people could tell.

"What's wrong now?" Louis asks, concern drowning in his voice.

Louis' always has helped Liam with his problems. Honestly, if it weren't for him, Liam would be more of a mess he is now.

"Nothing really, just Zayn.." Liam huffs, rolling his eyes as they walk around the hallways, waiting for the bell to ring. He felt upset, not just because of what happened, but since he always spills out his problems to his mate. He's afraid he'll look like an attention seeker when really, he's not. He's the opposite.

"You should do something. You know, to lighten up your mood.. Josh is having a party at his place tonight, you up for it?" Louis raises an eyebrow as he awaits for his answer.

Josh Devine. They weren't, per say, good friends. But they do talk at some points during the school year. Both have nothing against him.

Liam thinks for a second before nodding. "Yeah I'm up for it." and who was Liam to turn down a party?

"Will your parents let you go?"

Liam scoffs, "Like they care. No need to ask them, I'll go."

Louis sighs, but grins as they walk inside their first class, waiting for the teacher to begin talking nonsense.

"I'm going to Louis'." Liam lies once he's gotten ready for Josh's party, hours after school.

"Alright Li, have fun," Harry simply says, not looking up to say at least a 'goodbye' like he did. Or well, like he used to. But of course that was, before Zayn was hereLiam rolls his eyes at the thought but nonetheless, he walks out the door.

He walks off to the small local park Louis and himself always used to go to everyday when they were younger. He waits patiently for his friend to arrive.

He was said to meet Louis there, but as Louis' known to be late, he walks around the park, examining every part of it. He knew most of it's features already since he's been there almost every day years ago, though.

A few minutes later, Louis is there, huffing, definitely out of breath. "S- Sorry I'm late," he tries regaining his breath as they walk out of the park.

"Did you run here?" Liam asks, an eyebrow raised.

"Maybe, I have fallen asleep and forgot?" Louis chuckles, grinning widely when he hears Liam laugh. Louis hasn't really heard Liam laugh or smile ever since there were problems going on with his family.

So, it was quite lovely to hear.

They decide to walk to Josh's house instead since it wasn't as far. They went inside without having to knock, considering the door was open anyway. Once they've went in, they looked around.

Liam raises his eyebrows as he looks around Josh's house, or what really looks like a club. The dancing, sweating bodies, the loud thumping music, and even the smell of alcohol reached his nose.

He only had one question to ask himself.. What the hell did he get himself into?
