[short but important.]
Niall wonders back down the stairs to find his husband half asleep. He chuckles, wrapping his arms around his waist, which made Harry jump at the sudden contact.
"Trying to give me a heart attack, hm?" He jokes, laying his head on Niall's shoulder.
"Maybe." Niall answers, giggling at Harry's playful glare. "How 'bout we get some sleep? It's been a long day."
Harry hums in response, both eventually walking up the stairs and into their bedroom. They lay down, and like always, snuggle to each other, tangling their legs together as they close their eyes.
"I love you." Harry whispers just before he completely sleeps.
"I love you too."

It was half six in the morning, Harry had woken up from a memory, or as he'd like to call it, a nightmare.
He couldn't help himself but think of Liam right after his dream. He's not sure why he's acting toward him like that. He knows it's not okay, he knows not many people like that kind of parent.
Actually, he knows exactly why he's acted like this for about a year or two..
The truth is, ever since Harry was young, he had trust issues. He had walls, whom he's never allowed to break. Well, that was before Niall came along. He was the only person who was able to break through his walls and into his heart..
But before all that, Harry was a broken figure.
When Harry was little, he had wonderful friends, family members, relationships...
They were always with him, there to talk to him.
But when he turned around Liam's age, it all turned upside down, everyone had started acting differently. His father would abuse him, while his mum just watched in horror.
Harry's best mate, left when he opened up about his sexuality, his friend's last words being, "I knew you weren't good enough. Queer." Harry still remembers his own cries and wishes.
He had grown attached to everyone at a young age, and didn't want to leave their side even when they would be rude.
After a few months, more people started leaving. His father, his past boyfriend.. He was all alone with only his mother by his side.
That's why he didn't want to be with Liam.
He didn't want to grow attached, he didn't want Liam to leave him after he loved him just like everyone else had.
Because Liam was at that age where he could just leave whenever he'd want to.
He could leave Niall, Harry.
Harry was only okay with Zayn because he was little, he couldn't leave, and didn't understand like teenagers do.
He just doesn't want to be left by Liam, that's why he shouldn't get attached..
He can't get attached.

I'm sorry if it seems like many other stories, I had that thought on my own and did not copy anyone else's ideas. Thank you for seventy votes on the last chapter!
Do you think that's a good enough reason for everything he's done? Or do you think he still doesn't open his eyes to anything that's happening?

Zayn's Fault (Liam Centric) -editing-
FanfictionHonestly, it was all Zayn's fault I'm ignored by my parents. It's his fault that I'm depressed. He was the one to captivate our parents' attention by just creating one single antic. It was his fault my dads don't know all my problems, and basically...
