Liam received a phone call first thing in the morning by Louis, whom said that his mum and himself were going over later that day. Of course, Louis' mum to talk to his papa and dad.
Once the afternoon came, he heard knocks at the door. Grinning slightly, Liam got up and ran down the stairs to beat his parents to the door.
He opened, and surely there was his boyfriend and mum standing.
"Thank you, Jay for doing this." Liam said once he let them in and greeted, giving both a big hug.
"It's no problem Liam, I promised. You deserve better." Jay smiles, ruffling his hair a bit.
"Liam? Who's at the-? Hello Mrs. Tomlinson." Harry stops mid sentence once he saw Jay. Niall following behind.
Johannah nods, "Mr. Styles."
"Let's go upstairs." Liam whispers to Louis, whom nodded, following Liam toward his room.
"M'scared." Liam mumbles, resting his head on Louis' shoulder.
"Shouldn't be, Li. My mum will fix everything." Louis kisses his forehead lightly.
--
"May we help you, Mrs. Tomlinson?" Niall asks sweetly after the two boys went upstairs.
"Actually, yes. S'about Liam." Jay explains, Harry huffing and rolling his eyes.
"What did he do now?"
"He didn't do anything wrong, Mr. Styles. Is it possibly yourself doing something wrong?" Jay snaps lightly, causing Harry to raise his eyebrows.
"Excuse me? I'm not doing anything wrong." Harry defends himself. Niall keeping quiet.
"Right. If you weren't doing anything wrong, if you are such a good parent then why is Liam so upset? He's came to my house sobbing multiple times. Why? Because of you, Mr. Styles. I'm not trying to get you mad or offended, I'm just saying the truth. Liam deserves better. Can't you see he's hurt?" The older woman demands, staring directly at Harry.
"How am I supposed to know he's hurt if he doesn't speak to us? If he talks to us we could help him. I'm trying to be a good parent." Harry sighs.
"If he doesn't speak to you, s'because he's scared. And you don't give him the right to. How about you and your husband have a chat with Liam to clear things up, yeah?" She speaks calmly. After all this, Niall hadn't said a word.
Harry nods but doesn't reply.
"Now I expect you to treat Liam better. That's all I had to say. Thank you for your time, Mr. and Mr. Styles." Jay shakes her head up and down, before calling for his son.
"Thank you, Mrs. Tomlinson." Niall spoke for the first time in that conversation as the mother and son left the house.
The couple decided to let Liam be, both went upstairs to their bedroom.
There, they laid down, cuddling lightly.
"You okay?" Niall whispers to Harry who was unprecedentedly quiet.
Harry nods, not allowing himself to speak.
"Harry, I know something's wrong.. Baby, please tell me."
Harry shook his head before bursting into tears, sobs racking his body.
"Oh Harry.." Niall wrapped his arms around the taller boy.
Harry was shaking with rough sobs coming out of his mouth.
"I- I'm a horrible p-arent. A- aren't I- I?!" Harry asked in between his cries.
"No Harry, you're not. You're a good parent. Shh, stop crying please." Niall hushed him.
Harry was finally breaking. And he couldn't control himself anymore.

I've made a little quote for this story;
In life, we are not always happy. There's always a time where we are upset. Everyone I've seen, everyone I've known, has had no happiness in a period of their lives. And for some, lasting longer than others. But kid, it's not your fault. Even though you might not find that out yourself, you should be told by me, that it isn't, and hasn't ever, been your fault. - Zayn's Fault [Wattpad] written by: Lilo_Paynlinson_Love.If you could share that quote it would really mean a lot. :)
