"She's all I had left.." The figure moved from their spot at the window and faced to the center of the room.
Zeref stood still and responded coldly, "What changes your mind after all these years. All our work will be for nothing and now you second guess the whole purpose? How naïve for you to make this rash decision.."
"I didn't think she was alive!"
"What will you do if she isn't?"
The figure had a slight hesitation before glaring, "And what if she is?"
"Then what will you do? I'm sure a 19 year old girl isn't going to take in her mother with open arms after all these years?"
"Oh Zeref.. You know I love a challenge and when the time comes, it will be my decision." She smiled with an evil aura, "A mother knows best."
A sigh was heard from the room knowing that her current request was not one he could change, "I guess I can't stop you from doing so and.. I could care less at this point. My plan is still in order. When the time comes, I expect you to be there Lady Eileen.." Zeref walked to the door before giving her one last look over his shoulder. "You have one year and I don't need you going soft either."
"Yes Master, thank you." Eileen nodded.
August threw a punch at the man with a hard blow, "Come on now!" His hits were barely using any power at all.
"August! I don't know why you must spar me of all people!" The guard nervously dodged the hand, "Ah! Lady Eileen!" He quickly saw her enter the room and jumped to the ground.
The mage turned to see the Queen of Dragons herself, "And what do I have the pleasure of seeing you here." It was rare to even see her around the kingdom really.
"I just thought you could use a different kind of training." She peered to see the gurad, "They won't help you the same way I will."
"Okay?" He stretched his arm with a sigh, "What's this visit really about?"
Eileen's mouth formed into a frown, "I had another dream."
August grabbed his shirt from the ground and motioned her to follow him, "What happened this time?"
"The images got clearer and now they're sounds of her laughter. Slowly second by second everything that has happened in the past is haunting my dreams. Turning them into nightmares."
They walked down the hallway before stopping at the balcony that overlooked some of the land. "You know Eileen, I think you know what it's telling you." He responded briefly. These 'dreams' of hers have been going on for over a month now and he was surprised when she came to him to talk to. Lady Eileen Belserion wasn't one to hang around at one place for long, let alone talk to much people at the kingdom.
She looked off at the sunset, "I know. But, I can't love her. She's probably dead for all I know and the reason why I'm still stuck in the body. The dreams are all an illusion."
August chuckled a bit, "You're an enchantress. Do you really think that what you just said is true? I for one, think that this is up to you. Just remember who you're with in the war."
"Of course. Nothing will change my mind."
He leaned against the railing and rubbed his shoulder. "It's not your mind that I'm worried about." For a woman that's been alone for the past 400 years, something was bound to change eventually.
"Tch, doesn't matter." She tossed one of her braids back over her shoulder, "Nothing will change about me. Hasn't for years. Listen I'm done with this, I'll see ya later."
"Yeah see ya."
