chapter 2

I stopped walking and looked towards the voice .
"Great" I groaned along with Alya . Chloe pounced on Adrien .
"Adri-honey​ . What are.you doing with this peasant?" She asked glaring at me . I glared back and pulled my hand into a fist behind my back .
"I could ask you the same thing." I shot back . Alya laughed and put a hand on my shoulder .
"Nice one " She complemented .
"Thank you " I smiled . Alya looked behind my back .
"We'll meet you there Adrien " she announced grabbing my hand and started to walk away  .
"Alright!" He yelled as we walked away with Nino behind us .
Adrien pov
"Adrien . Do you love someone?" Chloe asked me .
"Yes . I do . Why do you want to know?" I ask in reply .
"Just cause" Chloe replied .
"Oh . And also Marinette wanted me to tell you something" Chloe said suddenly .
"Why would marinette ask you to tell me something?" I ask .
"Because . It's a secret " chloe said .
"Fine what is it " I ask .
"Right . She told me to tell you that you are nothing and that the way your farther treats you is what you deserve . Also she said that she doesn't want to see your face ever again . " Chloe told me .
"N-no . S-she'll would never say something like that " I said trying not to break down . I ran off to Marinette's house .
Back to mari's view
Me and Alya were talking about random thing in my room .
"Adrien's here " Nino announced walking over to the trap door . He opened the door just as Adrien barged in .
"Can I talk to Mari in private " He said . Alya and Nino smiled .
"Sure." They said in union . They walked out if the room and closed the door behind them .
"What's up Adrien?" I ask . He sat down on the chair opposite me .
"Is it true ?" He asked .
"Is what true?" I ask .
"DON'T play games with me marinette !" He exclaimed . He grabbed my throat tightly .
"A-adrien" I said gasping for air .
"Is it true?" He asked again .
"Is what true ?" I repeated . He tight on my throat grew tighter .
I whimpered in pain as my vision blurred .
"Chloe is right . You are nothing but a selfish brat  who cares about only  herself ." He snarled .
"You are nothing " Adrien whispered .
"Let go of m-" I started to say but I lost the strength to fight .
Third person pov
Marinette's​ eye lids fell . Her body grew limp . Adrien took his hand from her throat and let her fall to the ground .
"What you get  " Adrien snarled and walked out if her room .
Adrien pov
"Does marinette like me as a friend ?"I ask Alya . I walked up to Nino .
"Dude . She likes you way more then a friend " Nino said .
"She does?" I ask looking at Alya .
"She absolutely adores you Adrien " Alya said looking back up at mari's room .
"What's up with her ?" Alya asked standing up .
"She said she was going for a quick shower " I lied . Alya nodded .
Marinette pov
I woke up shortly after what happened .
