chapter 12

Adrien/chat noir pov
Mari cried into my chest . I stroked her back soothing her almost instantly .
"Mari . Why did you almost cut yourself?" I asked as she pulled away from the hug . The warmth from her body left as well .
"Because . Well . I don't really know why . My therapist says it might me just who I am . Or some one I care about is hurting and I take it out on myself for some strange reason." Marinette said running a hand through her loose her .
"Well . Come  with me !" I exclaim grabbing her good hand and dragging out if the bathroom.
"Were are we going ?" She asked sound sort of nervous . I picked her up bridal style and she let out a small shriek . I jumped out of the window and landed on the small ledge surrounding the outskirts of her house . I walked along the ledge as if I had done it more then once .
I jumped of and landed on a lamppost . They moon was above us now and mari's eyes looked like stars . I sighed dreamily running off with her .
" CHAT!" She exclaimed holding into my neck . I let out a small laugh and I landed on the Eiffel tower . I set her in her feet and looked her straight in the eye . Then she did something I never thought she would do .
Marinette pov
I pulled him by the gold bell around his neck and kissed him . I didn't know why . I just did . I kissed him deeply bringing him down to his knees . He kissed back . He lent back so he was sitting down and I sat on his lap kissing him more . I wrapped my arms around his neck . I broke the kiss and rested my forehead on his .
I bit my lower lip and smiled at him .
"What was that for?" He asked .
"Why? You got a problem?" I asked getting off him . He stood up abruptly .
"Why would I have a problem ?" He asked placing his hands on my waist .
"I don't know . I just thought . Man I need help" I rambled . He smiled softly .
"I'll help you princess" Chat smirked .
"Oh really . What are you going to do . Call my therapist" I joked .
He smile fades and a serious expression replaced it .
"I was jok-" I started to say before he cut me off .
"Why do you have a therapist?" He asked .
"I . I . There this girl a school who makes me feel really bad about myself . "I started to explain .
"Who ?" Chat asked .
"Chloe . The mayors selfish snobby daughter " I told him .
"What did she do to you?" Chat asked stroking my cheek . I nuzzled his hand and sighed.
"She told me that I was fat . And I started to starve myself . Then I started to get obsessed with ." I said .
"Mari . You are not fat . I bet I could wrap you in a hug twice" Chat said hugging me .
"Why else did you do?" He asked cautiously .
"Chloe said some other things to me and at some point I just lost it and I ran out of school and stood in the middle of the road and *sigh* then I got hit by a car" I sobbed . Chats eyes widened .
"That wasn't the only time I tried to take my life" I continued to cry .
Adrien/can't noir pov
"Mari . I promise to look out and after you . No matter what " I promised .
Mari tried to commit suicide more then once . All thanks to that brat I thought to myself .
"You know I'm kind of thankful that Adrien strangled me" Mari said wiping her eyes .
"No . Don't say that . Mari you have so much potential and your life is worth a lot . Not just to you but to others around you . So don't you dare say things like " I protested . Mari looked shocked at my words .
"Why are you like this ?" She asked . I smiled sheepishly at her . I placed my lips on hers . She kissed back . I smiled against her lips . I touched her neck softly avoiding the bruise . She ran her fingers through my hair messing it up even more . I pushed her against the wall kissing her more deeply . She let out a small moan as I dug my claws into her thigh keeping her in place .
Mari broke the kiss but kept her arms around my neck . She placed her fore head against mine and smiled . I felt her warm breath against my skin .
She . Is . Amazing . How can she be this perfect . I thought.
"I need to get home " She breathed . I smiled and spun her around making sure we landed in a bridal position . She laughed a bit resting her head against my chest .
"So perfect" I thought aloud dreamily.
"Thank you chaton " She smiled
"Chaton" I repeated .
"Well . You have a nickname for me so I thought I should give you a nickname​ ." Mari explained . I smiled at her .
" I like the sounds of that princess" I tell her before jumping onto the roof of the closest building .
"Chat . I love you" Mari murmured softly before falling asleep .
At those words my heart stopped for a second .
"I love you too Mari . More then you'll ever know" I whispered before jumping through the window of her bedroom .
