Bullied or Loved?

Chapter 9: Interrupted

As me, Niall, and Liam ride rides, Liam bought me cotton candy, yay my favorite! Niall, who is still holding my hand, dragged me to ride California Screaming. "Come on, Ari! Please, just one ride", Niall said holding my hands tighter than the usual, "No, Niall we rode that thing in like forever already like it took us a year or two from riding it", I said TRYING to pull away from his grip. "THING? THING? how dare you call the most fun ride in Disneyland, California Screaming, a THING?!", Niall said being dramatic as usual if he hears what I call his favorite rides a thing.

"I dared myself to call it a thing", I said to him while cocking a hip. "Well then, we'll see if this thing, will change your mind before calling it a thing", Niall said revealing an evil grin on his face. Oh god, I really don't like the look on his face, which to be honest is kind of funny on how he does it, so I held Liam's hand as tight as I could, but when that didn't work, (because my hand was already slipping away from Liam's), I had to jump on Liam bridal style and started covering my face onto Liam's neck and fighting away from Niall who is gripping on my waist with great force.

Damn, he's strong, for a short guy. But then I lost my grip aroung Liam's neck and Niall putting me in his arms and started dragging me into the entrance. As we waited (it only took us like 13 minutes to finally be our turn to get on) Niall started poking my cheek because I gave him my best mad face-look. "Oh come on, please smile, I know you can't stay mad at me", Niall said smiling while poking my cheek. He's right I really couldn't help it, my lips stretched into a smile.

"Now there's that smile", Niall said smiling revealing his perfect white teeth. We started tickling each other until the man behind us said, "Hey love birds can you please move it, it's your turn to get in". My cheeks turned into hot red as the man said 'lovebirds' to me and Niall.

We got on the cart, which is the very back because Niall chose it, put on the seatbelt and also the seat belt that's above our heads. As the man said "Blast off" the ride went super fast. I wanted to raise my hands but I didn't want Niall to say 'Now do you call it a thing?' in front of my face or 'I told you so', but I couldn't help it! I raised my hands and screamed at the top of my lungs as the ride went faster and faster. I noticed Niall looking at me, when he raised his hands, he interlocked his finger with mine as we went down on the second drop. His hand was soft on mine, I wanted it to be like this forever, I just want to put my hand in his forever.

The ride was done as me and Niall went off of the cart as I was about to go down the stairs, his hand found mine saying "Wait, Ari", he pulled me close, as he started closing his eyes and leaning against me to find my lips, I couldn't help but lean and close my eyes and find his lips, but we got interrupted by a little girl saying "Ew mommy, that couple was about to kiss". We pulled away, I bet my cheeks are burning red right now.

As we pulled away, Liam found us. "There you guys are, I was wondering where you were, ready to eat? Cause I'm starving to death", he said smiling his hands in his pockets. Niall interlocked his hands with mine as we walked to Liam to eat.

Was I really about to kiss Niall? Am I inlove with my best friend?
