Bullied or Loved?

Chapter 12: Pretending

   A smile appeared on his face, but once he saw me, the smile faded away. He was standing there, right infront of me. It feels like, like it's only the two of us standing there. He just kept looking at me. His eyes never left mine. He kept looking at me, making me shiver inside, but I don't think Perrie noticed it because she was just smiling at me then back to Zayn. Perrie ran up to me then started hugging me.

   "Oh my gosh, is this the famous Ariana?", she said smiling. "oh boy have heard a lot about you, Niall couldn't stop talking about you", she continued looking at Niall. I looked at Niall and I saw him blushing then he turned away. I couldn't help but laugh. "Perrie, do you want to go to the mall with me and Ari?", Danielle said smiling and linking her arms to mine.

   "Oh I'd love to", Perrie said "but wait a minute, we're not going to the mall with ari dressed like that". I looked down to the clothes that I'm wearing. I'm wearing a white t-shirt, some jeans and slippers. I din't feel like putting on the dress that Liam told me to put on. "Ooh, let's give her a makeover!", Perrie said shreiking. Danielle nodded in agreement.

   "No, no, no,no, please not another one!", I tol them pleading, but all they did was drag me into a room, which I was thinking is Danielle's room. It was beautiful, big, and pretty much pink. Perrie dragged me in a walk-in closet which was like similar to mine at home but 2x bigger. "Here, wear this", Perrie said handing me a pair of white shorts, a blue and white patterned flower, and white converse.

    Perrie and Danielle curled my hair and gave me a white clip on rose on the side of my head. "They both looked at me, and they started shreiking. They turned the chair around to face the mirror, I looked,....beautiful. I got up from my chair, then started hugging them.

    We went down the stairs, Niall and Harry were the only ones that can't stop staring at me. I think Niall was drooling. I started for Harry and asked him if I looked okay and he said 'You look beautiful'. I started for Niall but Perrie already grabbed my arm and started pulling me away from him. I saw Niall turned him smile fade away.

   Perrie bought me this cute outfit piece, then Danielle bought me some new shoes and accesories. "I feel really bad that I didn't you guys any", I said blushing and looking down at the floor. "Aw, it's okay love, nothing to worry about, that's what friends are for, right?", Perrie said holding my arms and hugging me. "Now, who's hungry?", Danielle said, then all of us raised our hands as quickly as we can, then we started laughing then headed towards Applebees.

I was at Perrie's house because they said they just wanted top get away from the boys for a while. Perrie had a text from Zayn saying that he will be here any minute DING DONG. Uh-oh, he's here. Perrie walked up to the front door revealing Zayn smiling at her. He gave her a quick kiss on thelips then turned to me. "Zayn, you remember Ariana don't you?", Perrie said to Zayn her arms around his neck.

"Yeah, I do", Zayn said to Perrie smiling. Zayn walked up to me and started shaking my hand saying "It's really nice to finally meet you" emphasizing the finally in his words which sent shivers down my spine. "Let's watch a movie!", Danielle said smiling while going to shelf filled with CD's.

"I'll get popcorn", Perrie said walking to the kitchen "Dani? Help me please with drinks?". Danielle rushes to Perrie turned around and said "Why don't you guys just pick a movie?". I didn't have the nerve to talk to him, but I felt safe around Danielle and Perrie so I just did.

"So? What movie do you want to watch?", I asked Zayn but he just kept looking at his phone, I tried to tap on his shoulder just making sure if he could hear me but he caught my hand and started sqeezing my hand, it hurt so much like someone's nails into my heart. "Look, just because I just shook your hand and being all kind doesn't mean I forgot about what you did", he started. "What did I do, Zayn? I couldn't even remember", I said almost holding back the tears.

"Don't play dumb with me, oh wait, you are already dumb", he said smiling mischiveously. I tried to hold my tears but some of them already came down. Hs started chuckling like it was no big deal. He let go of my hand when Perrie walked in with a bowl of popcorn in her hands, Danielle holding the drinks. I looked at my hand then I saw forming a small bruise.

Perrie noticed me crying and asked what's wrong, I looked at Zayn and started looking at me with an expression of if-you-tell-her-you'll-regret-it kind of look so I pretended that nothing happened. I opened my mouth to say something but Zayn answered for me.

"I told her about the story of the movie we first watched, The Notebook", he said smiling at Perrie and holding her in his arms. "Oh, I love that movie. Have you watched that movie, Ari?", Perrie asked looking at me. I nodded in response. "I did, but I forgot the rest", I said smiling at her.

"Okay then, let's watch... Because I said So?", Danielle said more like a question while running her fingertips on the CD's. "Oh I love that movie, Ari have you watched it?", Perrie said smiling at me, I just nodded in response. As we almost finished the movie, I told Perrie that I'll be going because Niall is looking for me. Zayn was already sleeping.

We said our goodbye's and me and Danielle headed our way to her house. As we arrived at her house, all the boys were sleeping already. I aske dDanielle where I'm going to be sleeping tonight then she showed me my room. "Thanks" was all i could say to Danielle.

We said our goodnight's then I headed to the bathroom to change my clothes that Danielle let me borrow, brushed my teeth, then started to get cozy under the warm covers, after for 5 minutes, I fell in a deep sleep.
