Chapter 18

Brooke's pov

Brooke was in her room practicing spells when a sobbing Bonnie bursted through her door. As if of instinct Brooke immediately grabbed a hold of her older sister and held her in a tight embrace. They stayed that way for 3 minutes Brooke soothing Bonnie until her sobs got more and more quiet.
"Bon I've never seen you like this what's wrong?" Brooke asked concerned.
"I think I might have just ruined something that could've be great."
"What do you mean?"
So Bonnie went and told Brooke about her talk with Kol and how she left in shock and when she returned Kol wasn't the same, "so now kol's humanity is off and it's all my fault" Bonnie sobbed.
"Hey you had every right to be overwhelmed Bon don't blame yourself there's no way you could've known this would happen"
"I have to fine a way to fix this B,I need to get Kol to turn his switch back on I made this mess so now I have to clean it up" Bonnie said sniffing
"I'll help in anyway I can"
"Thanks Brooke but this is my mess and I already hurt one person I care about I don't want to drag you into this I'll figure it out...Oh and thanks for just letting me cry back there you have no idea how much that ment to me it's not something I'm used to but I enjoyed it"
Brooke pulled her sister into a hug "anytime."

Bonnie's pov

Bonnie paced her room trying to think of ideas I just need to talk to someone who's been through this who understands it because hell if I know
And then it hit her Elena.
She jumped on her bed and grabbed her phone and speed dialed her bestfriend.
"Bonnie!?!?"
"Oh my god Elena hi!!"
"Where have you been what's been happening we haven't talked in weeks!"
"Well you know I found my sister and then Klaus forced her to trigger the curse and then the 3 of us got captured by a witch who wanted to rid the earth of freaks of nature so then we had to move to New Orleans to stay safe and yeah your basically all caught up"
"You almost died!! And New Orleans what the hell Bonnie why didn't you tell me!!"
"Why didn't you ask..."
There was silence on both sides until Bonnie spoke again, "well anyways the reason I called you is because I fucked Up bad,El"
"What happened?"
"Kol confessed his feelings for me and it was the sweetest thing anyone's ever said to me but I was so overwhelmed that I ran away and when I finally gathered myself to talk to him, i come back and his room is destroyed and his humanity is off. So I feel obligated to turn it back on since I'm the reason it's off so u thought you could help me with that."
Elena sighed, "bon I really wish I could help you out but turning someone's humanity back on isn't like finding the area of a circle, there's no formula for it. It's different for everyone" Elena paused, "all I know for sure is that Kol cares for you and that's key in getting someone to flip their switch back on so focus on that. And Kol probably flipped his switch because he thinks you don't care about it so show him you care."
Bonnie sighed, "ok thanks Elena"
"No problem, call me anytime ok? I miss you Bon"
"I miss you too Lena, love you."
"You too.bye"
Bonnie hung up her phone and screamed into her pillow
well that was absolutely no help at all...but it was nice to catch up
And then Bonnie got an idea
Kol still has feelings for me so I just have to tap back into those feelings Bonnie thought as she ran into her closet. She slipped out of her sweatpants and into a body-con dress
Desperate times call for desperate measures
She fluffed her hair applied lip gloss and went down the hall to kol's room.
"What are you doing here?" Kol raised an eyebrow, "and why are you all dressed up? I'm not complaining but-"
"I've been in New Orleans a couple days and not once have I been out on the town"
"And what you want me to take you?" Kol laughed, "hate to break it to you but we aren't friends darling"
"That's not what you said b-"
"Yes before I may I have said that but now I couldn't care less about you so if you excuse me-"
"I just thought as the family party animal you'd know all the best spots but I guess you'd rather sit inside and read isn't that right Elijah?"
"Don't you dare call me my brother ever again. You want a good time little witch? Well trust me I'll give you a night you'll never forget but won't remember in the morning." Kol grabbed her hand and in a instant they were in the garage, Kol grabbed the keys to a Bentley and told her to get in.
