Chapter 20

*back at home*

Brooke was in her room studying when she heard a soft knock on her door.
"Bonnie?" She asked.
"Close" a soft British voice responded.
Brooke opened the door, "klaus...wheres Bonnie?" klaus entered the room and sat on Brooke's bed, "she and my brother ran off somewhere probably to gawk at eachother in peace"
Brooke rolled her eyes, "what do you want?"
"you know I just want to chat"
"I don't want to talk to you"
"Oh come on love, you and I have a lot more in common then you'd think..."
"Oh yeah? What"
Klaus smirked at her, "we're both hybrids I'm half werewolf , Half vampire and you're half werewolf, half witch."
"Thank you captain obvious as if I didn't-"
"You didn't let me finish you feel too powerful to fit in with the witches and too much of an armature to fit in with the werewolves."
"So you're going to tell me how I feel?"
"Am I wrong?" Klaus looked at her with his piercing icy blue eyes.
Brooke just shook her head and bit her lip, "ok so what I don't fit in I've accepted it there's nothing to do about it"
"What if I told you there was?"
Brooke looked up and met his eyes, "what"
"We make more of you...your kind you'd be the alpha but you have a whole pack and you could teach them just like how I made my pack of hybrids"
"I don't think I'm ready for that yet I'm not strong enough"
Klaus got down on the floor beside her and grabbed her wrists, "but you are, Brooke" his pupils dilated "you have so much power"
Brooke pulled her arms out of his grasp, "ok I see what this is...another one of your power hungry trips please get out"
"B-Brooke that's not it at all I just-"
The door swung open and Brooke moved her arm and suddenly Klaus was out of the room.
That night Brooke couldn't help but think about what Klaus had said about raising a pack and her being the alpha  and what it would feel like to finally belong.
