Chapter Six ~ Bridges Between Us

Astronomy Tower

Hermione reached the very top of the tall tower and met the blonde haired Slytherin Boy once again at their meeting place. She raced up to him and hugged him she couldn't help but cry in his arms. He stroked her loose hair, gently, while giving her forehead kisses. 'Don't cry, Hermione.'Draco comforted.
'Why shouldn't I.' Hermione retorted but started to calm herself.
'Sorry...Can I ask you a question, Draco?' Hermione asked him lifting her head from his chest.
'Go ahead, Mione.'
'Do you think I'm a Mudblood? Be honest.'She asked full of curiosity.
'Yes.' Draco answered making Hermione slip out of his arms in anger before he finished what he was saying.
'My little Mudblood.'Draco finished laughing at Hermione.
'Urg! Your such a twit!' Hermione said slapping his shoulder.
'But I'm a handsome twit, right?' He joked, smirking. Hermione just rolled her eyes and left him there, him saying continually 'Right?'

Two Days Later.

Hermione was sitting in the couch in the common room, the exact same couch Ginny was sitting in before their argument. Ginny had been extra spiteful to Hermione for the past two days. When she was around Harry and Ron they didn't even notice, either that, or they didn't care. Ginny was Hermione's friend, Hermione knew she was only being mean because if the 'Draco' thing but it still hurt. 'Speak of the devil...or should I say THINK of the devil.' Hermione exclaimed as a certain red head walked into the room, sheepishly. 'Hermi-' Ginny started.
'You don't have to Ginny, you are right, I have to start being honest with ALL of you but I need to speak to Draco first.' Hermione said fleeing from the common room looking for Draco.
Draco was in the Slytherin common room talking to Crabbe and Goyle with a certain anger 'I told you! I have a girlfriend, kissing Pansy was a dare!!! Get that through you thick SKULL.' Draco shouted at Crabbe.
Hermione, who could hear everything from the outside, let out a gasp- loud enough for the Slytherins inside to hear.
Draco walked up to door, 'Hello? Is anyone there?' Draco hollered.
Hermione took a deep breath, 'Yes, it's The Purple Otter. ' Hermione answered, using her code name 'The Purple Otter '.  She was the 'The Purple Otter' and he was 'The Blue Ferret'. Draco told Crabbe and Goyle he was leaving and not to follow him before exiting the common room to meet Hermione.
'Let's go somewhere else, this place is swamped with Slytherins.' Draco demanded and pulled Hermione in a cupboard. 
'Draco, I heard what you said.' Hermione blurted out.
'What?' Draco asked.
'You kissed Pansy.'
'Yes but it was a dare - you and I both know I don't care about Pansy.' Draco told her holding her hands, their fingers between the other. 
Draco let of her hands and started to go to kiss her but she stopped him.
'Draco, I need to talk to you about Harry and Ron.' Hermione told him,  making him groan.
'Those two pinheads you hang out with?' Draco asked rhetorically.
'I want to tell them about us.'Hermione said.
'Really?' Draco asked in surprise, 'Go ahead, it's a chance for me to see their stupid faces when they know your dating me.' Draco stated.
'I think...I love you Draco.' Hermione told him, her nose touching his.
'Well, I know I love you.Granger.' Draco told her kissing her turning into a make out session in the cupboard, he kissed her lips and played with her hair...
