"Last time a guy kissed me, it turned out to be a dragon trying to eat my face" I said grimacing at the flashbacks"
"Well here's to hoping you have a better experience next time around" she laughed raising her cup of coffee then pausing to take a drink.
"I'm pretty sure next time around means this Saturday because Dylan's having  a back to school party at ours so there's that to look forward to, I haven't had a good party in ages"

"oooh I can't even remember last time I went to a good party, the party's at your house are always the best though". As we were talking a lanky blonde haired boy came up to us and said "are you a Harry Potter fan? Because I wanna slyther-in" he's then crouched down whispered "Them guys over there just dared me to do this I'm sorry he was going to spill his drink all over my history paper notes"
Amber replied "awh don't worry about it here come and sit with us" she said moving over. I looked over my shoulder and saw Adam and his group of douche bags sitting with the Harry Potter fans Bag, I stood up strutted over to the jocks.
"Give me the bag and give me the notes now it's the first day of school and I don't want to deal with your bullshit" I said rolling my eyes.

I sat back down "so what's your name I am Jessica" I said taking a sip of my hot chocolate
"I'm Wyatt I'm in your bio class" he hummed twiddling his thumbs
"Oh your the guy who answers like every question" I kicked Amber under the table "no what I meant to say was that your the guys who's really smart"
"Uhh yeah thanks I guess" he said awkwardly smiling.
"Shit now he thinks that I think he's a NERD" she tried to mumble under her breath but it just came out loud "no your not a nerd don't judge a book by its cover right" she said smiling slightly with her thumbs pointing the ceiling. I put my head in my hands let out a breath "I'm sorry Wyatt she sometimes can't control what come out of her mouth" I said laughing. "It's fine don't worry about it you guys seem cool" "ok good because I'm sorry" she said genuinely smiling this time,
"apology accepted on that note that we are all friends now anyone want another drink?".
"I'll have another hot Chocolate with extra whipped Cream and Amber will have another coffee thanks Wyatt"
Once he was out of hearing distance we spoke about ambers slip up on calling him a nerd,

"Amber you don't just call someone a nerd even if you're trying to say it  under your breath"I said giggling,
"Shut uppppp" she whined.
Wyatt came back with the drinks some how balanced in his hands "one hot chocolate with extra whipped cream and one coffee wait, Jessica how are you drinking hot chocolate in august?"he laughed
"well I think hot chocolate should be enjoyed at any time in the year thanks for the drinks by the way" I said smiling
Amber looked down at her phone ughh I have to get home we are having a family dinner it's my dads birthday I'll see you later, Jess give Wyatt my number byeeee" and with that she left so it was only me and my new friend Wyatt. "So Amber and her brother Dylan's are having a party next weekend Saturday you can go with me if you want I don't really like walking into party's on my own and it will take me ages to find Amber her house is huge"
"Yeah I'd love to come sounds fun I'm not really a party person but I'll go if you want me to" he said moving the hair out of his eyes, he has blond curly hair like a mop stuck on his head but in the nicest way possible.

"Yayyyy I actually cannot wait for this party!" "I know even though I've never actually been to a party"he said laughing.

"It'll be fun you'll like it, I can show you all the cool rooms in ambers house there's so many" I laughed. "But Anyways I need to get going wanna ride home?" I said picking up my hot chocolate. "Yeah if you don't mind"
"only just trying to help a friend out" I smiled and put my bag over my shoulder.
"So where about do you live?" I asked While I was fishing my car keys out of my bag
"Haven Road just by the little park on the corner"
"oh you live there I used to love going to that park when I was little" I opened the car and be both got in, it was like a sauna it had been sitting in the sun for over 2 hours. "God it's so hot in here"
"watch this" I pressed a button and the room came off "how's this for hot" I turned the radio on and the lazy song by Bruno mars was playing, I started driving and it got to the chorus and Wyatt was tapping his foot to the beat. "Come on I know you want to sing" he looked over and we locked eyes and "today I don't feel like doing any-thing, I just wanna lay in my bed" we both shouted at the top of our lungs. But Wyatt didn't just stop when the chorus finished he carried on and got really into the song and so did I "we're getting so many weird stares" he shouted while laughing. "I know but I could care less" then the chorus came around again "today I don't feel like doing any-thing I just wanna let in my bed don't feel like picking up the phone" the song kept playing then we both again started singing "meet a really nice girl have some really nice ..." we both looked at each other dead in the eyes and burst out laughing. The song then ended and there was a really slow song on so I just turned it down.

"Ok I feel like I've known you for ever" he smiled

"same here the only other person I do that with is Amber imagine all of us in a car doing that I'd probably crash the car" I said laughing. I switched the radio station and we had another little dance and sing then we got to Wyatt's house. Awh do you want to do the same tomorrow I'll meet you both at the cafe again" he said while he got out of the car, "yeah sounds fun see you at school" I said waving

"Oh wait I did just as I was about to drive away let me give you mine and ambers number, he came back over to the car gave me his phone. I put my name in as hot chocolate and amber in as coffee. "There you go call me later so we can sing over the phone byeeeee buddy" I drove off on my way home.
