Ambers POV
"Mum can you pass the pasta?" As mum was passing it over we heard Dylan slam the front door "Dylan get in here right now" yelled my dad
"Ughhh why I can't deal with any of you right now" he breathed as he stomped past.

"You CAN deal with us right now as it is your dads birthday and I have cooked for us all now are going to have a family meal wether you like it or not" my mum said sternly.

"Fineee" Dylan said pulling a chair out from under the table and sitting down

"Why'd you slam the door what's wrong?" I asked

"My truck broke down half way down the road and I had to push it all the way up here"

"Well we can get it fixed don't get to aggravated over it" my dad said calmly.

"So amber hunny how was your first day back?" Mum asked trying to change the subject

"Yeah it was ok I missed Jess a lot and we made a new friend at the cafe Wyatt" I answers smiling

"How about your day Dylan any big football games coming up soon that you want me and dad to come to?"

"I mean it was fine except when I had to push my truck up a hill and there's a football game next week coach is making me go and practice after school more than usual because I'm now the captain but I guess that's what comes with being the captain. And no I don't want you or dad coming"

"Son it's great that your the captain why didn't you tell us sooner?"

"Because I know how you will react you will tell the entire family and make a huge deal about it"

All of a sudden we were all sitting in an awkward silence only eating

Jessica's POV
"Harlow come here" I call my old cockapoo Harlow while I laze on my bed, thinking about the first day back to school. I've made a new friends who I found out loves Bruno mars, had the douche bag football team drool over the thought of me and my best friend in bikinis. And had a bio teacher from hell that doesn't actually teach us. So overall a great day.

"Jess I need help with putting the boys to bed?" My mum called from down the hall. I have twin brothers Harrison and Hayden and they are double trouble.

"Ok I'm coming mum"
I walk into the room and I get pelted by nerd gun bullets.

"Ok I'm going to kill you two"
I chase them into there beds and shoot then with one of the many nerf gun that was on the floor and shot at them until the surrendered.

"Ha I win" I say raising my eyebrows laughing

"Unfair" they both moaned in sync

"We can play more tomorrow and I'll let you both beat me but get some sleep so you can because you know I'm awesome"
I say walking out the room and shutting the lights off.

My mum was waiting out side for me. "How do you get them in bed so easily?" My mum questioned

"I threaten then with nerf guns" I say as I walk off
