When Helen killed Angel, we all walked to the house that Helen lived it. Helen said Hoodie could live with us too. Helen and I are dating again, and we are attempting to keep it going for as long as possible. Life is pretty much as I want it to be.
"Helen?" I called out from the kitchen, a little devil kicking around inside of me.
It's been 5 months since Helen killed Angel. Hoodie has a new buddy now too. Well they say they are buddies, but we knew what was really going on. Who would have thought Hoodie was gay. Nothing wrong with it of course, but I was just surprised that's all. His name is Masky. He has the same colour jacket as Hoodie's hoodie, but he wears a mask too. I suppose that's why he is called Masky. Huh, it just dawned on me. Hoodie wears a hoodie... Masky wears a mask. That makes sense I suppose. Anyway, Masky lived with us too. So we all lived together: Me, Helen, Alex (our baby), Hoodie and Masky.
"Yeah (Y/N)?" Helen called back.
"Do you know where Masky and Hoodie are?" I called out.
"They left for a walk a while ago now. Why?" He asked.
"Because I wanna watch a movie with them!" I whine.
"Well you're gonna have to wait for the lover birds to come back then won't you?" He laughed.
"But I'm booooooored! And Alex is kicking around like the little bitch she is!" I whine again, laughing a little.
"Well, that's good isn't it?" Helen asked as I came back into the main room.
"Yeah but she keeps kicking my ribs and they huuuuuuurtttttt." I continued to whine.
"She will be an active one, that's for sure." Helen smiled, placing a hand on my large stomach.
"Well not long now." I smiled at Helen. I snuggled close into Helen.
We sat there for a moment or two, when Masky came bursting in, crying.
~MASKY POV~
Me and Hoodie left to go for a walk. It had been a while since we got any time to ourselves. We walked down by the river and I felt Hoodie's hand slowly interlocking with mine. I smiled and held his hand too. We sat down by the river bank, and I leaned my head on Hoodie's shoulder and he placed his head on top of mine.
"I love you Hoodie." I smile widely.
"I love you too Masky." He said, planting a kiss on my head. I smiled even more and moved in close. We love each other, no matter what. It's going to stay like this.
I was about to fall asleep on Hoodie's shoulder, when I found something warm on my head, warmer than Hoodie's head. I decided to touch my head, and when I looked at my hand, I saw blood. I panicked and looked up at Hoodie.
There was blooding coming from Hoodie's neck.
"Hoodie!" I screamed. I quickly placed my hand on the wound on his neck, putting pressure on it to try and stop the bleeding. It didn't work I panicked, trying to think of anything that could save him.
"You're gonna be fine! Everything is okay! You're going to be fine, okay Hoodie? I love you. You're not going to die on me! Not here, not now you hear me?" I tried to assure him, tears streaming down my face. I decided to hold him.
I held him, holding his head above the ground, the blood staining our clothes. I took off his mask so I could see his face, and I took off m mask so he could see mine.
"You can't die on me Hoodie!" I said to him, my cheeks drenched in tears.
"Get... Helen.... and.... (Y/N).... quick..." Hoodie slowly managed to get out.
I didn't want to leave him but I knew I had to. I planted a kiss on his head, softly placed him on the ground and sprinted to the house.
Once I got there I burst in the door and scream, "Hoodie's been hurt! He's dying! Come quick!" Before running back out towards him again. When I got back Hoodie was still alive thankfully but he wasn't looking good.
Thankfully it didn't late Helen too much longer to get there, but (Y/N) took longer because she was pregnant. Once (Y/N) got there, she saw him and burst into tears too, so we comforted each other as Helen called the ambulance, then picked him up in order to meet them half way. Has Helen was carrying Hoodie, a small box fell from his pocket. I quickly picked it up and pushed it into my pocket, to look at it later. As we reached the end of the woods the ambulance was there to greet us. Thankfully the ambulance had room for us all to sit in so we all climbed in the back.
Whilst we were riding in the ambulance, my lover slowly dying besides me, I decided to look at the box that fell out of Hoodie's pocket. I pulled it out, and opened it up. What was inside shocked me.
A ring.
"Is that a ring Masky?" (Y/N) asked, in between sobs.
"Yeah.... It fell out of Hoodie's pocket..." I replied, still looking down at the ring.
"It's pretty. Hoodie has a nice taste." (Y/N) began sobbing again. That's when it hit me.
Hoodie was going to propose to me.
I burst into more tears knowing that my soon to be fiancé is slowly dying in front of me.
"He's going to be okay." (Y/N) assured me.
"Promise?" I asked her.
She stayed quiet. I don't blame her. He was in a bad condition. His throat got slit by some unknown person. When I find them though, I will kill them and make sure they will never be found. But that's later. No I have to concentrate on Hoodie.
Once we got to the hospital, they rushed him straight to surgery.
(Y/N) and I sat just outside, well as close as we were allowed to be that is, and we could faintly hear doctors yelling things like "We need more blood!" and "He's fading, quick!" until I heard a doctor call out something that broke my heart.
"He's gone."
They slowly came out of the operating room, I don't think (Y/N) heard the last thing they said.
"Mr. Wright? Miss. (L/N)? Mr. Otis?" The doctor asked. We all stood up, and walked towards the doctor.
"How is he?" (Y/N) asked, desperation coating her voice.
"I hate to tell you but Mr. Thomas did not make it through surgery, he's gone. It was too late to save him."
It took a second or so for it to really sink in. That's when (Y/N) and I began crying again. She lost her best friend and I lost the love of my life. Helen held (Y/N), she cried into his shoulder. All I wanted right now was to be able to hold Hoodie and cry into his shoulder. But I can't. Not anymore.
"(Y/N)?" I asked, trying to stop crying.
"Yeah Masky?" She replied, looking up from Helen's shoulder.
"Can we go now please? I.... I can't stand to be here anymore." I sobbed a little.
"Sure... let's go." She smiled slightly, before turning to leave with Helen. I slowly followed behind, tears still rolling down my face.
