The war had raged on for the last couple of years. The country was suffering, the people were suffering and Nate could bet, his Archie was suffering too. It'd had been four years since he had left the farm. For four years, Nate had cried himself to sleep and worried to the brink of death.
But Archie had said he was coming back when the war ended. And it had ended a couple pf days ago. When he had heard the news and was overjoyed. So he went to the road where he could first see his beloved.
And there, he waited.
