Chapter 3

•2 days later•

I took the bus home like every weekend I come home from moms house so that my dad doesn't see me I went straight to my room "this is getting worse" I said to myself as I looked in the mirror. I laid on my bed and blasted sleeping with sirens and then I fell asleep.

•The next day•

"Ugh I don't wanna go to school" I thought to myself as I did my best to hide the bruises. As I was walking to school a car pulled up beside me. "Need a lift?" I heard a familiar voice say. I looked to see Daniel driving the car. "Um no thanks.." I said " come on Madison" I looked at him shocked "you actually know my name?.." "yeah why wouldn't I?" Well considering the fact that all you've guys ever done was call me names ever since you saw me I didn't think you knew" "well yeah I know it i don't know about them do you want a ride or not?" " wouldn't you be in a hella lot of shit if they saw you with me?" "Yeah but I can just drop you off before we reach school if you want" "well...umm.." "come on one time isn't gonna hurt" I sighed as I gave in and got in the car. The ride was quiet at first but then he decided to make conversation " Are you going to the party this Friday?" "Um I wasn't really planning on it" "why not?" "Being around people isn't really my thing" " come on it'll be fun" "why all the sudden are you being nice to me? Is this some kind of prank you guys are doing see how close you can get me to you and then you all are gonna ruin my life even more?" "No... just thought you could use a friend" "ha like I've ever had one of those" we stayed quiet the rest of the ride and then we pulled up to the school where i got out "thanks for the ride.." "no problem I'll see you later I guess" "yeah bye" he drove off as I walked to the school doors where I saw Austin and Daniel I just walked past as quickly as I could hoping they wouldn't see me but I can't get lucky like that because that's when I heard Austin "fuck face!!" "Ugh just great" I thought to myself I kept walking hoping he'd leave me alone but then I felt him grab my shoulder he turned me around and pushed me up against the wall "I was talking to you" he said "oh really? I thought that was just me imagining an an ugly fuck boys voice" " who the hell are you calling an ugly fuck boy?!" "Well I guess since the voice was yours then I guess you " he raised his hand to hit me and then I heard Daniel "come on man it's not worth it let's just go before someone comes" Austin turned to Daniel "what you got the hots for her or something?!?" "no but she's not worth it so let's just go" Austin turned to me and just stared at me and said "we'll finish this later" and then he let me go and walked away. I saw Daniel look back as I was sitting on the floor trying to calm down then I picked my bag up and started walking to class when my phone buzzed
U/N- I promised you I wouldn't let him hurt you and I intend to keep that promise.
