Chapter 4

•Daniels POV•

As I was sitting in health I couldn't stop thinking about Madison I just can't get the picture of the fear in her eyes when Austin had her pinned to the wall out of my head. When I picked her up I wanted to ask her how she got all the bruises all over her face but I know she doesn't trust me so she isn't going to tell me I could tell that she was trying to hide them but they are pretty bad looking.. if only I could help her.. she's so beautiful she probably doesn't see that though.. all the names Austin calls her they aren't true at all.. he's an ass but he's my only friend so I have to stick with him.. the bell rang for the end of last period which made me come back to reality.. "hopefully Madison can get out of here before Austin sees her" I thought

I was walking through the hall where I saw Austin and Levi talking "Daniel come here" Austin yelled to me "what's up?" I asked "I have the perfect prank to pull on Madison" I sighed knowing it wasn't going to be good "what is it?" He told me his plan and how he was gonna do it. I couldn't let her get hurt but I couldn't let Austin find out I told her so I just texted her giving her a little heads up.

•Madison's POV•

"Only a little further until I'll be safe" I said to myself as I walked out of the school I kept an eye out for Austin when I felt my phone buzz

Daniel- Austin is planning something watch your back

Me- that's no surprise he said he'd finish what he started

Daniel- I'll do my best to help you

Me- don't worry about me I'll be fine.

Daniel-*sigh* do you want a ride home?

Me- nah I'll be fine thanks tho

Daniel- anytime
