Recap
“It’s beautiful!” I exclaimed. He laughed and put his arm around me.
“Just like you. Before we go in can I ask you something?” He sounded nervous.
“Of course!” I smiled at him hoping that would calm his nerves.
“I know we haven’t known each other for very long, but I feel like I’ve known you my whole life. Will you be my girlfriend?”
“Yes!” As soon as the word left my mouth his face was beaming with happiness. He picked me up and twirled us around. He set me down and hugged me. I was so happy. He let me go and grabbed my hand as we walked toward the beautiful house. The door was flung open by a pretty lady in her mid thirties. She was smiling so big when she saw our entwined hands and said

“Adain you didn’t tell me you would have company.” She said trying to seem mad, but I could tell she was very happy.
“Sorry ma it was a last minute decision.”
“Well that’s okay. Oh where are my manners y'all come on in.” she moved to the side and ushered us in. She led us to the living room and sat down in a chair. I sat down on the loveseat and Adain sat next to me.
“Vi this is my ma, ma this Vi” Adain introduced us. Her eyes got big and her smile got even bigger. I bet her cheeks were hurting from smiling so big.
“It’s nice to meet you Mrs. Nite.”
“Oh call me Ally dear, Mrs. Nite is my mother-in-law.” I smiled and was about to reply when Adain said
“ma we’re going to go upstairs so we’ll see you later.” As we walked away his mother called out.
“Y’all be safe and use protection. I’m not old enough to be a grandma yet.” Adains face went red and he mumbled “damn mothers”
“I heard that!” his mother called from the other room.
“I’m sorry about that.”
“It’s okay. That’s what mothers do.” I said. He led me to the grand staircase and up. We went up two flights and came to the third floor. There were lots of doors and we walked up to the last one on the right. I was wondering how big his family was, because this house is huge! He opened the door and his room wasn’t what I expected. It was clean; there was nothing out of place. The walls were a navy blue and his king size bed that was in the middle of the room had black sheets. Nothing fancy, he just had the bed, a dresser and three doors besides the one we came in. There was a door on either side of the bed. I guessed that one went to his closet and the other to a bathroom. The third door, or I should say doors, were French double doors that led out to a balcony. We walked out onto the balcony and admired the view. Well at least I did. Adain just stared at me.
“How can you look at me when there is this breathtaking view in front of you?” I asked.
“Easy, you are more breathtaking than anything else I have ever seen.” I blushed and turned my head to stare at the view. From my vantage point I could see the forest spread out for miles. Closer to the house in the meadow was a beautiful lake.
“My mom liked the feel of the nature so she had our pool made to look like a small lake.” Adain answered my unspoken question. The lake was beautiful, with its crystal blue waters and the great oak with a rope tied to a branch. It looked like a great place to cool off in Oklahoma heat. I was lost in my thoughts and the beautiful view that I didn’t notice Adain getting closer to me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and turned me around to face him. I looked up at him and smiled. He smiled back and asked me if I wanted to go swimming. Of course I wanted to but I didn’t have a swim suit. When I told him this he just laughed and said
