20⇏Reach The Top

Hansol's POV

I brought my snacks backpack with me in case I would get hungry while climbing up the hills later. I got out of the tent and zipped the tent close back.

I ran towards Eunwoo and stood beside her. "Oh, Sol ah. Do you sleep well last night?" I looked at her.

Did I sleep well last night? Urgh, I couldn't even stop thinking about her confession at the lake yesterday. What should I answer her? Yeah, I do like her, but Eunwoo. What about her?

"Sol..? Hansol???" Eunwoo waved her hand in front of my face, waking me up from the deep thought about Sooha to the reality.

"U-uh?" I didn't even realize when did my eyes travel  around. Just now, I was looking at her, didn't I?

"You seem to have something that troubling you. What happened?" She placed her right palm on my left cheek.

"N-nothing." I slowly pushed her hand away and turned to the teacher.

We queued up with our partners, facing Mrs. Oh. "Okay, let's start our activity!"

We all started to walk to the hills together. I could see Sooha with her partner, Joshua who are only in front of Jihoon and Yuha. Well, Jihoon was just in front of me. So, me and Sooha weren't that far apart.

Sooha looks quite pretty and cute today since she tied her hair into a ponytail and wore a red headband. The squares long sleeves with Jeans really suit her well.

It's been an hour since we started to climb up the hills. Times really fly fast, but still.. we didn't even reach the top! The sun started to rising up and shine really bright that make us all sweats.

Some of the students stopped by at the big trees to rest and get some energies. But, Sooha still didn't give up and continued to climb up the hills. Even though she has sweated so hard, but she still could do that. I kinda worried of her.

"Hansol ah, let's stop at that big tree." Eunwoo hugged my arm and pointed towards the big tree 2 metres away from us.

"Eo." I was about to walk to the tree but suddenly I saw Sooha was falling onto the ground. I decided to go look for her, but then I realized that Eunwoo was just right beside me.

The boys started to gather around her and help her. But, me.. I accompanied Eunwoo to the big tree and the both of us rested there.

Sooha's POV

"Sooha ah, gwaenchanhayo?" Jihoon asked me, checking my palms and my knees. My palms had some bruises but, my knees are okay since I wore long Jeans.

We have stopped by to rest and have some snacks. Luckily there was a small hut for us to sit together. We sat in a big circle and placed our drinks and snacks in the middle of the circle.

But, I noticed among them, only one person was missing. "Yah, Vernie eodisseo?" Seungkwan asked them, looking around to find him.

"There." Wonwoo answered, opening his water bottle.

"Huh?" We all looked around and finally found Hansol who was sitting with Eunwoo under a big tree.

Hansol put a hand behind Eunwoo's back which made me jealous. But, seriously I couldn't do anything. I'm nothing to him after all.

"I.. seriously don't like her." Wonwoo coldly said, making us look at him back. But, why?

"Me too, actually." Kyulkyung agreed with Wonwoo. "She once asked me to be in her group, but I declined. It's because I know how she is behind the scene."

Woah, woah, woah. What actually happens? Why are they talking bad about Eunwoo? She looks fine to me.
"I know right." Seongyeon said.

"Yeah, who likes her, anyway? She just stole my Vernie!" Seungkwan gave them a mad look as he fanned himself using his hand.

I just kept silent since I didn't know what are they talking about.

Woah, I never expect it to take us 2 hours to reach the top. Luckily, in our class there's no one who has a serious sickness or something.

I took a deep breathe and felt the morning fresh air. It was quite cold here since the hills were so high. I took a seat on the big rock as I took out my camera.

"Shua yah, let's take some pictures. This time, I bring my camera with me." I pulled him to sit down beside me.

"Eo, jamkamman!" He stopped me and took out a sky blue handkerchief from his pocket. After that, he wiped the sweats on my face, around my neck and my wet hair. As he did that, I felt comfortable around him. "I don't want you to look ugly in the picture of us."

He's so sweet, kind and gentleman. Someone who gets him as a boyfriend must be the luckiest girl ever.

I smiled and thanked him. Then, we took selcas together.
