40⇏Good & Bad News

Hansol's POV

It's been an hour already and there was still no news from the doctor about Sooha's condition. The rest already went back to the dorms, leaving me with dad, Seungkwan and Joshua only. My eyes got sleepier as I yawned several times.

I glanced at my watch. It showed 10 o'clock. I sighed, leaning on the wall behind. I was about to close my eyes until the operation room door opened widely, revealing a doctor with a cold expression plastered on his face.

I immediately stood up, so did dad, Joshua and Seungkwan. He walked closer to us, staring on the ground. His face got me worried.

"Doctor.." I spoke.

He raised his head from the ground and eyed me. His cold face then changed into a calm one as he smiled in relief. "Thanks goodness.. we did the operation on her successfully." As I heard his first words, I couldn't help but smiled widely, sighing in relief. Oh My God thanks so much! "Luckily the knife didn't reach her lungs, but still it was kinda a deep cut. Her body was still weak due to the injures, so we will keep her for some weeks or maybe a month. We just changed her into a private ward. You can visit her later." He explained.

I bowed twice at him. "Thank you so much for saving her, doctor." I was very glad to hear this happy news.

"I should be the one who thank you. Thank you for bringing her quickly here." He patted my shoulder and walked pass by me.

As the doctor left, Seungkwan quickly ran to me as he hugged me tightly. "Kwannie, she saves!"

After we broke the hug, I looked at dad. He nodded, smiling. I replied the smile back. He always understand my feelings and will never stop support me.

Eunwoo's POV

I entered the dorm back as I slammed the door hardly. I was really mad right now. Sooha wasn't being killed, Sol got injured, Nayoung got out of my group, Sol's mom got mad at me and didn't trust me anymore, all of my plans just ruined!

It was because of your existence, Na Sooha! You bitch!

*Knock! Knock!*

I looked at the door. Who might it be? Slowly I walked to the door and twisted the doorknob open. There they were, Haeun and Yoora, standing straightly, facing me.

"Eunwoo yah, did you see Nayoung? I didn't see her since this evening." Yoora asked, looking into my room.
Im Nayoung...

I threw them a cold look. "She isn't in our group anymore." I coldly replied.

The both of them turned shocked. "W-what do you mean?"

"She helped Sooha." I said.

"Uh.." I could tell that they were speechless. "Er.. then, excuse us. I-I gotta go. Annyeong, Woo yah!"

The both of them ran away, leaving me alone. I knew this would happen someday. As expected, they left me. I was born to be alone, I guess.

Yoora's POV

Haeun called Nayoung and told her to meet us at the park beside the school. And, here we were, ending up at the park, waiting for Nayoung to arrive here.

After a couple of minutes, she then arrived with someone. It was Seungcheol. I wondered what has happened between these two. Are they dating each other or what?

She walked to us, but then stopped her track as she turned around, facing Seungcheol. They talked about something which made Seungcheol turned his back and walked somewhere. Then, she turned to us back as she walked closer.

"Im Nayoung." Haeun called her.

She looked at us, guilty. "Mianhae." Was the first word that escaped her mouth.

I took a step forward, placing a hand on her shoulder, I said, "You shouldn't be sorry. No one says this is your fault. I'm no mad either. It's just.. can you tell me why are you leaving us?"

Her face showed me that she was scared. I knew that she was hiding something. She then hung her head lower. "I lied. I lied that I am rich as you guys while actually I'm just a poor girl who lives under an ugly roof." She confessed, tears escaping her eyes. "I'm so sorry." She covered her face with her palms.

I looked at Haeun as she looked at me back. I didn't know that she was poor. Her characteristic everyday at school really showed that she was very rich. Even richer than us. Haeun pouted, nodding.

I slowly removed Nayoung's hands and made her face me. "Young ah, I.. never expect this, but.. can you tell me more details why you left us? I mean.. you must have a reason, right?"

She nodded. "It's a quite long story." She brought us to the bench and we sat together. "My brother was sick and my mom needs my money. But, one day an unexpected thing happened. I was at the school rooftop, talking to my mom about the money and someone secretly heard about our conversation. It was Choi Seungcheol, one of Vernon's friend." She explained. Oh, so that was when they started to be close to each others. "He offered me a help. He lends me a big amount of money to help my brother. At first I refused his offer, but he wanted to help me so bad. And, I just could think of the money and my brother that time, so I just accept his money."

"Uh huh?"

"I thought.. since he helped me a lot, I should help him too. So, I told him about Sooha." She bit her lips, getting more guilty. I rubbed her back, calming her down. "I just don't want to see Vernon cry. I don't want to say this but I once have a crush on Vernon. It's sad to see they suffer to search for Sooha."

"Does Eunwoo know about this?" Haeun asked.

She nodded. "She does, but she doesn't know about my true identity."

I sighed. "I'm sorry for you." I pulled her into a hug. "Young, if you need a help, you can just tell me, hm? I will always help you with open arms. We're friends, aren't we?"

"Yes! Just tell us everything!" Haeun joined the hug.

As we broke the hug, Haeun suddenly leaned closer. "By the way, what are your relationship with Seungcheol?" She whispered naughtily.

"Yah!" I hit her on the head.

Nayoung bursted into laugh. "We're nothing, but to be honest, he's really sweet towards me. I kind of like him." I whispered back, grinning.

"Yah, I'm jealous! I've kept this feeling since a year ago! Actually I have a big crush on Seungkwan!" Haeun gladly stated.

"WHAT?!"
