Everything was a mess when I got back. Papers were scattered everywhere, and my guitar was in pieces. "I'm sorry, I was just...I don't know." He picked up one of the pieces and handed it to me. I wanted to cry, but let it slide, I wanted to play piano anyways. I can finally let go of a piece of my sad childhood. I cast a flame, and Domanik jumped back. I burned it, and he watched as I controlled the flame. "What did they do to you?" He paled, and I backed away. I spread my wings out and he fell over. "Good-bye again." I walked out the room, and choked down a sob, I'm a freak. "No! Wait! You're not leaving me again! I won't let you!" He ran after me and grabbed my arm. So much for an escape, but why would I want to? I don't want to. "Let go." I said weakly, and he let go of my arm, and just as quickly grabbed my entire body and held on. "No, I'm not letting you go, I'm not losing you, not again." For so long I had managed to hide my emotions, and eventually had no real feelings at all except for anger. For Tue first time in ages I cried. "Why do you want to leave so bad?" He asked running his fingers between my wings making them tingle. "I don't want to, I thought you'd want me to." I said keeping my head Nuzzled between his neck and shoulder. "I don't want you to leave, please don't leave me." He said through a choking sob, and I immediately felt guilty. "I won't."

Everywhere I went he was there by my side. The only time we were apart since my arrival was when we had to use the bathroom. I finally had a real shower, not just some water hose with a painful power wash setting and pervy scientist watching me. Domanik shaved the stubble off his face, and started clearing away the "missing" posters he'd made. "Is that supposed to be me?" I asked looking at one he'd made as soon as I was taken away. He had tried to draw me and written in a messy scrawl was "Help! Lost person, have you seen where they've taken her?!" He laughed and took the paper out of my hands. "Uh yeah...I tried. I'm not an artist like you." I smiled and made a small flame on my fingertip and brought it to the paper. "Hot." I looked at him and smirked. "What was that?" He blushed and stammered a bit before saying "Nothing," and walking around picking up other things he'd left lying around.

"I know, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." He said looking at the asked of my guitar on the floor by the door. "You didn't have to burn it, I'm sure we could've fixed it." I shook my head and vacuumed up the ashes. "No, we couldn't. Hell hath no fury like an angry boyfriend." I walked over to the TV and turned it on. He'd kept the news on during my time in captivity, and what was the first thing I hear, a story about the recent explosion at the Grand Canyon. A dark skinned woman spoke, her voice dull but the story captivating. "An explosion at the well-known landmark, the Grand Canyon, has helped the government find the hideout of the criminal mastermind Santiago Hernandez, but unfortunately he was not found at the site of the explosion, but evidence shows that he was indeed there. What evidence doesn't show is what caused the fire that caused the explosion to happen, leaving many people dead." She continued on, and Domanik walked over to me, wrapping his arms around my waist. "Hell hath no fury like an angry girlfriend."
