I'm still at the hotel, it's been about a week, Luke has texted and called multiple times but I just decide to ignore it. I feel really bad though. I don't know how I'd approach him. Tomorrow I'm going to his house to talk to him. Right now I need to talk to my mother. It's currently 3:57 and my mom said she'll call at 4
The loud ringtone of my phone starts going off and my mums face appears.
"my beautiful opal, how have you been" she says, her dark curly hair falling past her cheeks.
"I could be better." I say looking around the room I was in. She gives me a worried look.
"Are you in a hotel? What happened? Where's calum?" She asks looking behind me at the cheap lamp that was placed on the small nightstand.
"mom, calum has been cheating on me for a while now.. so I left." I say, verge of tears.
"Oh my god opal.. I'm so sorry babe. Well what's your plan." I have thought about my plan, a lot actually.
" well after this semester is over, I'm moving to New York. I'm not going to be bossed around anymore." I say, she looks at me happily.. thank god
"oh my god I'm so happy for you! I can't wait, you'll be so close to me and your father-" she rambles looking around the room
"Step father" I say pointing my finger in the air, I'm not excited whatsoever to see him.
"Oh sweetie I can't wait, but auntie Shelly is here and I've got to get going, love you, don't forget that!" She says hanging up.
Tomorrow I'm going to Luke's, to compromise a bit. I've only known him for a month... I use to talk to him here in there- in high school. Than I'll go to calums and compromise there too. hopefully it'll work out because if it doesn't, well I'm fucked.
