Joel's POV
We just got into the room and I was thinking about the wink I gave her... I hipe I'm not making her think of it as too much. She hasn't checked the text, but when I thought ai was home free she pulled out her phone again. She checked her texts and I saw her eyes scanning the text with the 'x' in it. I am so nervous. I saw her cheeks turn a light shade of pink while she sat on my bed.
"You read it?" She looked up at me with her cheeks still a little bit of a rose shade.
"Yeah..." I looked at her and realized how beautiful she looks when she blushes because of what I do or say when I sat right beside her. The only thing is is that I can tell if she's sad or happy from her eyes because of yesterday. She was happy most of the day but I saw sadness in her eyes when she talked about her parents and started crying last night... Right now ai can't tell what emotion is behind her light green eyes.
"So anyways... What do you want to do?"
"Why was the text important?" That moment I realized she was confused.
"That I was gonna come over..." I explained the obvious.
"Why did you want to know if I read it or not?" I was tongue-tied. I didn't know what to say.
"I don't know. I just wanted to be sure that you knew I was coming." I was glad I thought of that excuse at the last second.
"Oh... Okay."
"Yeah." I was so glad she didn't say anything about th-
"Did you have another typing error?" Nevermind.
"What?" Play it off cool, Joel. Play it cool.
"There was another x...Did you mean to make the little face?"
"Oh! Yeah..." I lied.
"Oh..." She sounded a little sad, but why?
"Is there anything wrong, Jen?"
"Huh?"
"You seem like you're sad."
"No, I'm fine." I knew not to believe that.
"You can tell me." I put my arm around her shoulders and pulled her closer to me so her head rests on my chest.
"I don't really want to talk about it..." She looked down at the ground.
"Fine." She stands up for some reason. "What are you doing?"
"I don't know, I just don't want to sit."
"Do you want to see my recoding studio room?" I saw her eyes brighten up.
"Yeah!" I laughed at her excitment, I really did like seeing her eyes bright matching her bright smile.
"Right this way." I instructed her to follow me and we went towards my recording studio at home. "Here we are." I opened the door to the room I spend a lot of my time in.
"Whoa..." Jennifer looked around the room with amazment clearly written in her beautiful greenish greyish eyes.
"Do you like it?" I asked hoping for her answer will be yes.
"No..." I felt sad because I read her completely wrong. "I love it!" She ran up to me and put her arms around me, with me not knowing she was going to do this I ended up spinning around and it felt so good having her so excited and in my arms. I never would think that I would ever be so close to this girl that I always admired since I saw her account on twitter. I stopped spinning her and set her down but didn't let her go.
