03. Setting out

Naka's POV

Today is my 18th birthday. Which is the day that I decided to set out to sea. Mama and Logan told me to follow my dreams of surpassing Whitebeard. I packed up my things and went to the living room to tell mama and Logan goodbye.

"I bought this for you before I was kidnaped, and decided to give it to you before I leave." I stretched out my hand and placed the necklace in mama's hand."Naka make sure that you are safe okay? Try not to die or else I'll come and bring you back to life and beat you up." Mama said with a grin on her face.

"I know that I'm not your real father but I still love you a lot. Try not to die before we do okay?" Logan told me.

I have them Both a hug and headed out to the ports. My boat, which is small enough for two people, was docked on the far side so that it isn't in the way of the fishing boats and the trading boats.

I tossed my bags into the boat along with food and supplies. My katana was strapped to my side while my seastone dagger was inside of my right boot. I put my hair up on a half bun and set my cloak down.

I opened the sails and started to head out. I saw mama and Logan waving towards me yelling their goodbyes. I waved back with a very large smile on my face.

I didn't know what to do now. I don't really want my own crew, but I don't want to be by myself. Well i guess I'll just sail to the next island and see what happens.

To pass time, I decided to look through some bounty posters to get to know who my enemies are. I need to know who I should watch out for or else I'm screwed.

I ended up falling asleep until I heard yelling. I opened my eyes when I saw a navy ship sailing towards me.

'I guess I'll just start to build my bounty then'

I stood up and dusted myself off and I start waving at the navy ship."HEY!! MY NAME IS NAKA ROSE!! I'M HUNGRY AND I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH FOOD DO YOU HAVE ANY?!?! HOLD ON IM A PIRATE I SHOULDN'T ASK THE NAVY FOR FOOD I GUESS ILL JUST TAKE IT!! THANKS!!!"

I hopped onto the ship and turned into a white stag. "Death" the ship shriveled up and broke down as "life" was sucked out of it. A blue swirl grew between my antlers as I sucked the life out of everything . I jumped back down onto my boat and the blue swirl became compressed into a tight bright blue swirl. "Boom" the ball shot at the shriveled up ship setting it on fire with bright blue and red flames.

Very beautiful if I say so myself. When i left the Whitebeard pirates, i learned that a white stag is like a symbol of nature. Life is in my hands. I'm able to bring life to things and take life away from things. I can form "life" into things and let it take any form. It can go anywhere and create anything. It's kinda confusing thought.

I saw another ship far away but i didn't really pay it any attention. I was hungry so I took out my ham sandwich with a tangerine. My lunch was amazing until I felt someone looking at me.

I looked around until I saw the ship I saw earlier coming closer. 'Well shit..just when I thought that I could have my lunch in peace somebody comes and screws everything up.'

I looked at the ship and noticed a Jolly Roger dancing in the wind."OH WOW! Now I have to fight a flipping pirate with a bounty of 315000000 beli. WELL ISNT THAT GREAT!!" (Note the sarcasm)

I waited as they got close enough to the point where if I walked five steps I can touch their ship.

"OI! What do you want?!" I looked up waiting for a response when a giant metal arm came down on my boat. I change my legs into the legs of a stag and jumped up onto the ship. "Well shit. My lunch is now inside the ocean for the fish to eat. Thanks a lot dumbass!"

It would be an understatement if I said that I was pissed. Fire is in my eyes and they won't burn out until I get my daily dose of meat."IF YOU WANT TO GET OUT OF THIS ALIVE GIVE ME SOME MEAT!!!"

I scanned the deck and saw a male that looked to be 6'9 with flaming red hair similar to mine. I also saw a man with a mask, a man with his mouth sewn, and a man with bunny ears under a hood maybe? "Bitch who the hell do you think you're talking to? I'm Eustass "cap-". "I know I know, you're eust-ass "captain" kid. It's not like I'm an idiot, so if you would give me some meat everything will be okay.

Kid's eyes were filled with anger when he began to attract all the metal on the ship. I tried to hold onto my katana, but it slipped through my grasp. "Repel"

Everything shot at me, but I didn't bother to dodge. Swords and pieces of metal pierced my skin as blood dropped out of me. "Oh no~ I'm dying~" I said placing the back of my hand on my head."I see the light~" I dramatically fell forward onto the deck. "Bleh."

I heard loud footsteps head towards me and a very large hand grasp my neck."you bitch. Who do you think you are mocking me?" Kid said with absolute hatred in his voice.

I looked at him through my mangled hair,"God sucka" I twisted my neck as I kicked him in the side of the head causing to stumble back.

I plucked the metal from my body and retrieved my katana. My head was dangling to the side as I used my hand to hold it up. As my head reattached to my neck, I headed towards the man in the mask and asked,"where's the kitchen?"

Killer's POV

This woman just kicked captain in the side of his head and twisted her neck in the process, but she still asks for meat. I tightened my grip on my scythes but she looks at me and says,"it's no use if you hadn't noticed. I just wanted some meat but your idiot of a captain decided to rudely grab my neck. I don't plan to fight but I will."

I looked at kid then at the girl. "What's your name girl?" "Oh how rude of me. My name is Naka Rose. What's yours?" She stretched her hand out for a handshake but couldn't receive one since captain punched her causing her to fly into the wall. "You bitch you know that hurts right!" Kid yelled at her for awhile until she slowly got up. Her eyes were covered by her hair and blood dripped down her chin. "Oh you asked for it kid."she said.

Out of nowhere she turned into a white stag. We were all shocked, but kid recovered the fastest. "Bitch do you think that you can hurt me just by turning into a deer?!" I saw kid gather metal again but something was different. The metal dropped one by one as it headed towards kid. I saw his face turn even paler as he fell to his knees. I looked at the deer and saw a blue swirl grow in between her antlers. Before major damage was caused I ran at the deer pushing it off the side of the boat.

The blue orb dispersed as it went toward kid. He seemed to regain his color in his skin.

"Get her out of the water and tie her up on seastone cuffs killer." Kid yelled.

I jumped into the water and swam towards the girl. She was human now so it was easier to get her out. Once on the deck I brought her down to the cages and cuffed her in seastone.
