(3) the dream

Hey so since I updated late last time, I'm gonna do this one a little early because I felt bad. So here it goes start reading my few readers who I love a lot because they are reading my bad writing!

'Alex's pov'

I snap my eyes open and sit up fast. I'm breathing heavily as I look around the room.

Im in a black hallway and all I see is a huge black wolf with glowing red eyes​. Blood dripping down it's teeth. I back away as it walks closer. I back away fast until I hit an invisible wall. I turn around and try and push through it. " Help! Help me!" I cry. No one hears me as the beast gets closer.

I turn back as my heart beats out of my chest as the wolf stops right in front of me.

It growls and lunges at me...

I try to fight back but its too strong. After it's done I fall to the ground. The wolf steps back and shifts. In front of everyone stands Adam, with a evil smile on his face.

In his shadow I see my dad laughing and coming out from behind Adam. '' finally, it happens. Now I can finish the job."

I blink slowly waiting for the pain.

"Alex."

"Alex."

"Alex!"

I wake up with a scream. Sweat drips down my body. I look up an my gray and gold eyes lock with Adams familiar gray ones.

" Alex, sweetie, what happened?"

I shake my head to try to get rid of the scene stuck in head. I'm breathing fast and heavy. "J-just a ni-nightmare. I'm f-f-fine." I say between breaths.

He looks at me with worry and curiosity in his eyes. " What about?" I shake my head telling him I don't wanna talk about it.

I check the clock on the wall and saw that it was 7:31 a.m. my dad would be home in 29 minutes.

" Adam i-i need t-to get ho-home. Before my fat-father gets there first."

He looks at me then sighs. " I can't let you go home to that... that..." He sighs again " I don't want you hurt. I can't let you go back to that bastard Lexi. I just can't let you get hurt."

He looks me in the eyes and I see a little sadness in his eyes but is soon replaced with an expressionless face.

"Fine I'll take you back.but, if he hurts you I will find him. You should probably get ready though."

I look down at what I'm wearing and my eyes go wide. My only pair of shorts that are to short for my liking and then I'm wearing an oversized tee. It looks like I don't have pants on!

"Uhm... Could I borrow some clothes? And could I take a shower please?" I ask in a whisper

"Yeah, sure. I'll take some of my mom's clothes and I'll get you a toothbrush. K?" He asks with all of his emotions still covered up.

I nod my head and look around. I walk over to a door and​ open it.

It leads to a hallway with stairs at the end. That's not it.
