It was a normal day, well about as normal as things get in Myst City...
I would take the time to introduce myself, but now's not a good time. I'm locked in an intense battle with my arch nemesis, Doctor Sonic Sound Wave or Dr. Sonic for short. Long story short, he's a bad guy with doctorate in acoustic sciences and a sonic sound wave gun. Yeah, it's not fun to get hit by a blast from that gun.
"You shall not defeat me!" Dr. Sonic cried, blasting my friend Rachel. Oh wait, darn it. I meant to say Corona. It's so hard to refer to your best friend by her alter ego.
"A little help here, Artemis." Corona says, get back up. I know she was trying show no pain, but caught her briefly grimacing.
"Ok Corona, let's end this fight." I say with a smile. Don't ask me how, but I just knew that we could end the fight. And of had I really bad idea of how to do it.
If I could get the sonic gun away from him, Corona would probably be able to use her power to end it.
I grab the gem on my necklace.
