I looked at my body, I was whole. I looked just the same as when I died. I even had the same lipstick on. Same clothes, too. My sundress and beaded choker.
Zayn started to smile. He always liked seeing the subject after the conversion. The glistening smile on their face. Not only that but the shock of their face. It looked as if he was going to cry big, old man tears.
" So what's 'er talent, Harry?" Niall whispered to Harry. ' It's hard to say' Harry thought.
" Ethel, how do you feel, anything seem unusual?"
" Uh, yes, I am human again!"
"No, you're not, you have been converted. No longer a raw ghost,"
" Should we take her to the Villa, now?" Niall asked.
" I'll show her the way," Perri said.
She showed me the way to an industrial looking door.
"Here you go, I'll show you the way to your cabin. Go ahead, open it!"
I twisted the handle of the door with freight.
" Welcome to the Villa of Convesia," Here's you map, it'll show you the way to your cabin, look, I gotta go! See you later Ethel,"
I couldn't understand a word that map said. It was definitely not English.
" Excuse me, what does this say? I can read this!"
" Oh you are the new girl aren't you! Ethel right! Well, my name is Damien. Anyway, this says that your cabin is that way, the one with the address 308, right on the edge of Sepia street. Ok, I'm late for class, you'll have 'em too, soon,"
I saw it, the cabin was fair size, probably only a one room deal. I approached the door, twisted the knob.
I was right, one room, but at that. This room was the best place I've every been in. There was one of those Chinese looking paper dividers with a beautiful scene of cherry blossoms. There was also a vanity like the one I had before I died.
The boys had given me a trunk with everything I would need to be here. I started unpacking. I put everything in the dresser. Even the picture of me and my boyfriend from when I was alive on the top. I forgot that was in my pocket the entire time.
I looked at the creased photograph like it was the queen of England. He was probably long dead by then.
As I finished in packing I set the trunk in the corner. I looked at the shelves. There were many different ones in there. The pages scented with mildew and the desperation of others.
I put on the clothes they had put in my trunk. No dress, camo green, Dark skinny jeans, and faded purple military boots.
I guess I wasn't used to being in worn out clothes or even anything that wasn't a dress that was intricately beaded.
