Hey Guys! Before I start my story I want to give you a couple goodies and hints.
1. A link to the theme song of The Figment Books. Breath of Life by Florence + Machine. Look it up on youtube after you read and you will understand.
2. The landscape of the Villa I had in mind is inspired of the forests in the northwest of the U.S.

I took my last few gasps as I slowly fell into darkness. The colors of the brightly lighted streets slowly started to fade as I fell deeper into the murky water. I scrambled to get to the surface, I soon realized that it wouldn't do any good.
I soon fell so far the pressure from the water could kill me. But I was already dead. For there was nothing but water in my lungs.
2014
Niall walked up the white sand beach and down to the water. The sunset was dancing around the top of the harbor and reflecting off of sails like a movie.
He admired the peace of the small town and all it's people. From the cashier at the front of the beach concessions stand to the dockhand who told him not to swim in the designated area. Niall tried his hardest to really take in the beauty of the setting.
Everything was perfect, every single thing. The temperature was a perfect, summery, evening 76. For heavens sake he already was in a swim suit so ,might as well go swimming.
I saw him plunge into the water, making a huge walrus of himself. He started to swim deeper and deeper like someone was pulling him down. It looked like he saw me, but that was impossible.
We ghosts are only seen when we want to be seen, and to assure you I wanted to be as invisible as I could. But he had direct eye contact with me. I didn't understand.
He reached for my arm. And mysteriously, he took hold of it, and started pulling me right to the surface.
