Alex jumps onto the bed and lands beside me. "What are you doing?" I laugh as he crawls near me. "I have to ask you something" I roll over to face him "and what might that be?" He smiles as he pulls his hair into a ponytail. "If I could give you one thing that would complete your life what would it be?" I lean up to face him. "You've already given me Abbie. To be completely honest...I don't think I want anything else from you". I stand up from the bed and walk out of the room.
I know, I know that was harsh and a little too mean. He was just trying to be nice but...I am so tired of him! Alex is selfish and a cheater and he doesn't care about anyone other than himself. I hate him. I just wish he would leave. But I can't tell him that. He's paying for the home I live in and the food my daughter and I eat. I'm silenced.
