Adrienne's POV
He dragged me upstairs and slammed me against his door mercilessly. He had my hands over my head and stared down at me dangerously.
"What the fuck were you doing?!" He shouted at me.
I was at a loss for words. "I-I.."
"You what?" He boomed.
How was I supposed to respond to that? He wasn't supposed to even see it happen. I did it cause I felt like it. But at this moment I knew I couldn't just say that to him.'I thought I passed my peak and I'm experiencing fall'
Dallas' POV
My vision was getting blurry, I was starting to see red. Why the fuck would she do this?
"HUH?" I found myself yelling.
She looked up at me scared, and starting stuttering. I pushed myself off the wall and walked to the other side of the hallway and looked back at her.
"Why were you doing that?" I said, trying to sound calm. She folded her arms and stared at me.
"I felt like it."
I stared at her for a minute. I looked down. I used to do the same things.
"Why'd you feel like it?" I said quietly.
"Cause." She simply said and pushed past me into her room. She slammed the door and I heard the metallic click meaning she locked it. I sighed and finally went back to my room. I felt like she hated me, but I shouldn't even care! She's just a fucking broad I'll fuck, and throw her away just like all the others. I thought. But in my mind I knew I was lying to myself. I walked around my room, I ran my fingers through my hair. I shouldn't be stressing over this chick. She's not worth it......
"BULLSHIT." I shouted and knocked my hair grease and comb and heater off my dresser. I need her. I don't know what about her but she's mysterious and beautiful and- stop. I plopped down on my bed, and went tossing and turning in a dreamless sleep.'And I ain't left this little room trying to concentrate to breathe'
When I woke up something felt off. I had a killer hangover, yea, but something was different. I shook my head and pushed my self out of my bed. I just threw on a white T-Shirt some blue jeans, and a leather jacket. I actually greased my hair today. I walked out the door and out of Bucks. I didn't know where I was gonna go, but I was leaving.
Adrienne's POV
I was driving around aimlessly and realized I needed gas. Shoot. I didn't have that money. I hit my steering wheel and then pulled up at a DX. Maybe they could at least fill up half my tank? I pulled up at the DX. I got out of the car and four boys and two girls were at one pump, talking and one drinking Coke.
"Uh, excuse me." I said quietly after I walked up to them.
They all looked at me.
"Yes." A tall and lean boy said, his hair was black and greased back. He had an eagle tattoo.
"My cars out of gas, could one of you fill it for me?" I stammered. They all seemed intimidating. They basically were all super taller than me.
"Sure," The same boy grins and walks over to the pump my car is by.
"Thanks." I say and turn to walk back to my car.
"Hey," One of the girls said, she was pretty, she was tall and slender.
"I'm Roxy." She smiled at me and waved. Her smile was warm and friendly. I smiled back and waved.
"Adrienne, most people call me Adri though." I said and looked down.
"Nice to meet you Adri."
"Back at you."
She was really sweet. She was leaning on the boy who was drinking the Coke. He was tall, and movie star pretty. He had blue eyes. I turned to walk to my car. And then saw another one pulling in. I looked over at it, I saw the one and only Dallas in it. He looked nice. He got out of his car, and all the people next to the pump smiled and waved at him. I looked at them, and he looked at me.
"Hey Dallas!" The boy who was filling my pump shouted.
"How's it going man?" Dallas said and walked over to us.
"Pretty good." The boy nodded. I leaned against the car. Sneaking glances at Dallas.
"Adri," He started boldly with his hot New York accent.
"What's up?" He said, leaning against the pump the boy was using.
"You kids know each other?" The boy said.
"Yea," He looked at me and grinned. I smiled back. He walked over to me and put his arm around me, he smelled like cologne and cigarettes.
"Adrienne's my girl." He looked down at me and chuckled, pulled me close and then let go. I didn't object, I liked it, but I wasn't going to be showed off to his friends. If that's what he was doing. The boy that was drinking the coke whistled.
"Dal, you ain't tell us you had a girl." He said.
"I ain't tell her." He replied and walked back over to them. I looked at my shoes, I felt stupid.
"Your tanks filled up." The boy with the eagle tattoo said.
"Thanks." I said and started to get into my car.
"Hey, wait!" Roxy said and ran up the my car.
"Why leave so soon?" She said and smiled. "You can hang out with us, you look cool." She said. I looked at her for a second, I really didn't have anyone else to turn to at this point.
"Sure." I said and shrugged.
We spent most of the day talking, I caught Dallas looking at me a few times. I had learned all of their names and figured out the relationships pretty quickly. It was Steve and a girl named Helena, we called her Hell. It was Roxy and a the boy drinking a Coke named Soda. And a dark skinned boy, probably Italian, named Johnny, with a girl named Bella. Soda and Steve had gotten off of work and so did the girl named Hell. They all started heading away from the gas station but Soda and Roxy trailed behind, so did Dallas.
"Hey your welcome to come to our place, where we're all headed. You could meet the rest of the gang and we would have a good time!" Soda said.
"Hey, I appreciate the thought but I'm gonna go back to Bucks..." I trailed off.
"Oh you stay at Bucks? No wonder you and Dal know each other!" He chuckled.
"Yea...maybe I could go tomorrow?"
"Of course, the doors never locked, it's up the street there." Soda pointed up the street.
"Never locked, don't you think that's unsafe, ya know, robberies?" I said, I didn't think about it, I just said it. I hoped that didn't make them mad at me. I don't know how he could've gotten mad. Just people take different things offensive.
"We've already lost enough." He said and looked down. Roxy patted his back.
"We'll see you tomorrow?" Roxy said.
"Maybe." I turned and walked to my car and saw the rest of them walk off. Dally followed me.
"They're real nice people," He started. "You should go." He said.
"Thanks." I got into my car and turned on the Beatles and drove away.'When you grinding up them teeth and it's fucking hard to sleep'
