Late Light (KTaehyung)

School

I felt something warm on my eyelids that soon turned into a stinging sensation. Groaning I slowly opened my eyes to reveal the sun shining through my window.

"Ahhhh" I screamed as the sun momentarily blinded me. After a while I got up and checked my phone.

7:35

I had less than 30 minutes to get to school. And it was 45 minutes away.

I rushed to the bathroom and took a shower and brushed my teeth. Then I made myself a quick sandwich for breakfast and some tea.

Almost tripping over air I rushed into my room to put on my uniform. Yes my high school has uniforms lame I know.

Putting my hair into a bun with a braid in the front I picked up my book bag and dashed out the door.

I ran to the bus station and barely managed to make it on the bus.

"Phew safe" I said as I took a seat. I pulled out my phone and started playing Crossy roads (ayye that's my game).

Soon I got bored and just listened to some music for the remainder of the ride.

When my stop came up I dashed out the bus doors and started running toward my school.

As I was running I heard someone call out my name so I turned my head around to look at who was calling me.

When I did I saw no one and when I turned back around before I could stop myself my face collided with a wall.

Wait actually a chest of a tall man.

I fell backwards on my butt from the impact and sat there shocked.

"Oww" I said as I attempted to rub my butt.

I looked up at the man but I couldn't see his face because of a big hoodie he was wearing.

The man bent down and pulled me up quickly.

"Be careful" he said hastily in my ear.

Then before I could thank him he was already walking away.

I only stared at his retreating form as he walked away.

As I turned back around to head to school an old lady approached me.

"Dear I would advise you to stay away from that man. I don't mean to seem mean but he's quite strange." She said.

"Oh" I said as I smiled nervously.

"Well I don't want to hold you back so goodbye dear" she said and walked away.

Who was that and what does she know about that man?

Suddenly I heard my name being called again.

"Amaya"

I turned around as I saw my best friend Lola running toward me.

She finally caught up to me out of breath.

"Didn't you hear me calling you?" She asked.

"Well yea but when I turned around I didn't see anyone" I said back.

"Oh well never mind let's go before we are late" she said pulling me along.

As me and Lola walked into school I could feel someone staring at me so I turned around.

However when I did all I saw were other students trying to get inside the school as well.

Once inside I went to my second period class. Both me and Lola started 2nd period and ended 9th.
