Who?

I unlocked my door as I stepped in with the bags. Sighing I put the bags down as I entered the empty apartment.

I lived alone since my parents went back to their home country and I wanted to finish high school over here.

I placed the eggs and milk in the fridge and the snacks and waters on the table. I then went to my room and picked out some pajamas to wear.

I brought them with me into the bathroom along with my towel. I stripped as I adjusted the water to a warm temperature. Then I hopped in and bathe myself.

I came out after 20 minutes and put on my pajamas. Grabbing a bag of chips from the kitchen table I plopped down in the couch ready to watch more of a drama I was hooked on. Strong Women Do Bong Soon.

As I was about to go into the Drama Fever app on my TV their was a sudden news alert.

"Attention viewers this is an emergency news alert. Not 30 minutes ago there has been an attack in Soon May park. The victim was a female age 24 who had been coming home late from her job. She was stabbed 10 times in various places. It was clear she put up a fight but sadly she didn't survive. We warn everyone especially females to stay safe and not venture out at night. If you must, make sure you are not alone and always have your cell phone. Remember if you see someone or something suspicious report it. That's all from Fast5. Goodnight and stay safe."

My eyes widened as I heard the information.

An attack? A murder? Who would do something like that?

But it wasn't until I remembered where the murder took place that I broke out into a cold sweat.

Soon May park.

That park was only 5 blocks away from the one I go to.

Still shocked I went into the Drama Fever app and clicked on Strong Women Do Bong Soon. Before it started I got up to make sure my door was locked and my windows too.

Returning back to the couch I wrapped up with my blanket as a new episode began.

A few hours later I was starting to get drowsy. My eye lids kept fluttering open and closed as the Drama continued. Being too lazy to get up to turn off the TV I just let it play.

Before I knew it I was dozing off. As I closed my eyes for the last time that night I faintly saw a shadow through my window. It looked like that of a man.

Being too tired I closed my eyes as I dismissed it as a hallucination.
