"Unathi, what is it?" Freya silently screamed.

I stopped reminiscing about a past that seemed frizzy still. I just had a flashback! I remembered something. Oh boy.

"What?" I replied.

"What – is – the – problem?" Freya started talking as if I was five.

"That boy, who is he?" Warona asked noticing me focused on someone.

"He looks like my brother." I mumbled.

"I thought you couldn't remember much?" Warona questioned.

"You just had a flashback, didn't you?" Motheo says, blankly.

I nod.

My brother looks in my direction and instantly my eyes widen and I look away, hoping he wouldn't see me. I didn't need him to see me. Besides, it looked like he was with my mother, and as much as I was more than excited to reunite with them, I couldn't. I hadn't seen them in so long that they probably stopped looking for me.

"Go say hi then." Freya suggested.

"We need to get out of here," Warona interjected.

"We?" I asked.

"Problem?" Warona said.

"If I say yes?" I stood up for myself.

"If she doesn't want our help, let's not force it." Motheo narrowed his eyes at Warona as what seemed like a warning.

Victory was mine!

"Come on, back door" Freya said.

Reluctantly, I followed them out back.

It had been two hours since we arrived at the safe house and no one had relaxed ever since we arrived. We haven't even all had a proper conversation. Motheo's pacing back and forth, worried about Freya who had gone out to get some supplies from the nearest store. Warona was looking out the window, tapping his foot, anxious for her return. I was making beds, for the night. I was not ready to have another sleepless night.

The door flung open and Freya walked in. Her boots, popped in first, then her knee high socks and then her black skirt and lastly her white top and her face accompanying it. She smiled as she trotted in. Warona closed the door behind her. Motheo looked at her, narrowed his eyes. He mentally questioned her and it seemed like she mentally replied too because he relaxed after she stared back into his eyes.

"You weren't followed were you?" I broke the tension.

She shook her head, confidently.

"You guys should be heading home. Your parents are probably worried." I said.

"Our parents are dead." Freya replied blankly. "Car accident."

She turned to Motheo, who was looking at me. I widened my eyes, at how completely alright they were with speaking up about it.

I glared at Warona.

"My mother's out of town, she's never home. And my father? He's always working."

He rolled his eyes.

I walked to the bed then sat down, crossing my legs. I sat at the head of the bed, and watched as Motheo followed, then Freya and lastly Warona, each of them sitting uniquely.

"I don't know where to start," I mumbled.

"From the beginning," Motheo suggested.
